He's her tutor or something he should know what a geode is. And she meant he's not royalty like the king, not that he's ugly. I liked rocks as a kid like her so I always liked that part.
Why is no one mentioning the part of Princess and the popper when the prince smells annalisa’s paper and says “lilac she never scents her parchment in LiLaC”
@@cantbetamed2210 he’s Annaliese’s butler. if there’s anyone who knows what scent the princess put on her letters, of course it’s the one who sends her letters
It's Pauper, otherwise that it sounds like you're talking about Barbie Princess and Dr. Pimple Popper. But anyway I didn't notice that but it is a weird thing for him to notice.
I'll join the petition anyway. Call me weird, but somehow this character did always mean so much for me. Now, he feels much more ridiculous to me, but somehow he is still one of the most intriguing Barbie characters I can imagine.,...(But for romance interest, I still choose Dominic, of course (; )
THIS was the Barbie movie of my childhood. Everything about it has stayed with me to this day. Preminger, Julian, the geodes, the songs, Serafina and Wolfie (BEST CATS!!!!), that early 2000's low-budget animation quality, the entire aesthetic... THIS is the best Barbie movie imo.
@SatinySpy74 Nah, Barbie in her movies compares herself a lot to other characters in a way that diminished her self worth or just stating an opinion and likes, I never seen her making fun of other girls interest or how they dress like a lot of the 2000s media did, maybe they poke fun at it, but you wouldn't see her saying stuff like *I'm not like other girls, I like sweatpants and farts* kinda thing, cause she herself as a character is traditionally super girly and feminine, she's the super nice version of Regina George basically, so her characteristics doesn't fit with how the 2000s or any timelines ideals of a quirky girl
@SatinySpy74 Ahhh OK, usually 2000s ideal of a quirky girl is the more casual or non feminine or feminine but not girly types, the girly ones usually are the bad guys haha
@@DeanneMaye For a second I thought you meant Jack Skellington, then I looked back and knew what you meant, but seriously, if you listen to the song how can I refuse, it sounds exactly like him
I think it's funny that Erika literally made the dress Annalise is wearing with her own two hands, presumably knowing it was for The Princess, and yet she didn't recognise her as or suspect her to be that same princess until she said her name's Annalise?
1:21 The queen: promise me you’ll never do *IT* again…. *the king stares at her….* Dirty minded people: 👁👄👁
Still my favorite barbie movie. I think we have it on VHS but it's recorded so there's commercials every once in a while. You're just enjoying the movie and suddenly *pLaTiNuM cArS* on Christmas themed channel 5
Yeah ik it’s kinda whack. The only counter argument I can make is that Annaleise had literally zero hope that she would escape her role as royalty, trapped in a loveless marriage. Erika at least had hope that she would make it out of there and be a traveling singer. 🤷♀️ still not really comparable
@@Dezdem0na exactly nowadays class difference is still such a huge struggle but in a monarchy? you were born into wealth imo even if erika did make it she would never be as high class as anneliese would never get treated w the same respect as her
@@bornana269 it is deeper than that, she is born incredibly lucky considering her status and connections while erika has no one, that’s expressed through the egg thing tho, a maid will do all of it for anneliese she just has to eat while erika has to do everything on her own starting w even getting the egg
*Makes inappropriate joke* Family: 👁👄👁 Grandma in the back: 1:04 When your crush looks at you and you just: 1:34 0:50 Where did their hair go?!?!?
Erika and Dominic being like: 👁️👄👁️ ily It's so weird for me bc it's my first hearing the english version and the girls' voices are so different from the one I know!! In the french version they're very soft spoken and it can get annoying lol anyway I love this movie ty for this amazing edit ❤️
Wow, I'm so used to Kelly Sheridan, who does most of the voice of the old English barbie movies (and is amazing) but I forget that there are other voice actors. That's so cool. I'm glad you enjoyed it 😊
I love how spooked Preminger looks at 1:16. He knows Anneliese, and observant as he is he probably knows her well enough for this to be right in the uncanny valley.
0:20 my cat actually does that and then he gets to damn lazy 9 mins into the walk so I have to carry him the rest of the way🤦♀️
2:25 He even does Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's signature eyebrow raise when she calls him "a rock". These animators knew what they were doing.
0:14 I'm crying. I remember loving his scream here even as a child. It cracked me up. Now, with that meme face reaction it's hella hilarious.
I have this movie and watched it when I was younger and this is nostalgic I didn’t really understand it back then,I thought they were just lost long twins lol
