hehe... you know I love my Hannah Montana transitions. I hope you enjoyed :) I spent a stupidly long time on this lol. This was for fun only - I'm not hating on Barbie ~ I do not own any of the clips~ credit to Mattel
It's absolutely insane that no one noticed how much Blair looked like her mother when she came to the academy!!! Like the staff would atleast know what her parents( late king and queen) looked like!!!!
@@justyuan0907 yes dane devins face was all shocked and then her attitude towards blaire changed cuz she realized that she was the dead princess [ dane devin seemed that she was gonna teach blaire but then she didnt ]
i never cared about the plot. the ONLY thing little me ever cared about was the locker closet thing and the fashion. this movie made me wanna be a fashion designer 😭
He probably thought charm school was better for his seventh year while Ron stayed at Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes, Hermione actually studied, and Draco did god knows what
Imagine training 18 years having all the skills to rule, and a blonde waitress gets the crown because she's got "the royal blood" There's no need for leader to have the same blood...unless its attack on titan
Honey That's not how it works the crown didn't belong to Delancy at first as long as the royal blood was alive Blaire was the rightful heir of the throne that's the rule
@@Jayantea but sadly that's not how it work, it was like in the past, for example, the heir of a noble family died, so the sibling passes into the line to inherit. However, the dead heir appears back, once he returns, everything that was passed to the younger is returned to the elder, because that belongs to him being "the original heir". In this case, once the daughter of the royal family appeared, everything is given to her being the rightful heir, not to mention that Delancy was not even in the line to inherit since she was not a direct descendant of the kings (she wasn't their daughter) which makes it even worse in her case, she no longer had any right to be the next queen, not even a small one
@@JayanteaAfcourse she was but you have to follow the rules that's all and it wasn't Blair's fault that her parents were killed and she could not be raised by royal people ..... Delancy did become the royal lady tho
i actually like delancy. she dropped her mean girl act the moment she found out her dead cousin is not dead and even helped said cousin fight against the evil aunt
One thing I noticed, even as a kid. Delancy's dress looks like Blaire's transformation gown, but Blaire's looks more like a slip-in dress, while Delancy's has those rope things on the back. Either Dane Devin(?) Knew what the Royal Gown let's call it looks like and wanted to incorporate it to her daughter, or it's just pure coincidence and I'm looking too into this.
Nah more like a member of the proletariat who is legitimately not like the other students because she, once again, is a member of the proletariat and not upper class, becoming upper class.
I love how in the overview shot of the dance class at 1:12 you can actually see the person on the very left T pose hover her way to the others if you watch her closely
Me as a child: oh looks so magical! Me now knowing that barbie didn't have proper teach as a noble, in politic, and as a kindom leader: that kingdom should be fall in two years smh
ngl I preferred Barbie's love interest's initial “Prince Charming” persona than his actual personality. A lot less generic, and the dynamic was at least a little more interesting
I remember watching this movie a lot of times over and over again, thinking that it was an amazing movie. But now I realize that it’s a lot weirder than I thought lol 😆
Yeah and in the first scene of the movie, it shows her doing her job and she does everything perfectly (from what I remember). The moment she starts attending the princess training school, she's suddenly the Miss. Klutz and can't carry a cup without spilling it.
Well actually a waitress dont usually use sugar cubes and serve tea in the ways of royalty, and also she was under a lot of pressure so... i get the point of the movie
Tbh barbie movies don't really need plots or anything, as long as they twirl into a better version of their outfit at a climatic point in the movie, that's enough.
When I was little, after watching this movie, I did the online Barbie Princess training and ended up hurting my neck after stacking 3 dictionaries on my head. Anything for that certificate.
i used to do this too, except stacking pillows on my head. once i got so confident that i could balance glass cups on my hands instead of water bottles while doing that weird pose training thing. it didnt end so well
BEFORE: carries several dishes at once without dropping a single one or even wobbling the slightest bit AFTER: literally yeets a sugar cube across the room
@@wickedwonderland9831 I'm sure they're paid by the rich school. I really don't think a Barbie movie would have slavery just out in the open like that 0-0
@@heartclaros8192 it’s a technology that blends real life and animation, allowing you to film someone live and transfer them into computerized form...that’s what they do in I guess almost every Barbie movie
Or at least different dress styles, like aside from the color pretty much every girl is wearing the same dress. Except the important ones, they have the diamond play button texture on their tops
Finally someone says it. A man being a decent, good human being =/= boyfriend material. If someone knocked me over and helped me, I'd say thanks and smile. But to be like: OMG!! He's a such a nice person, is this love?? 👁🔴👄🔴👁. Girl, get some standards. The bar is on Satan's living room carpet. 😂😂
I remember having an entire CD of barbie movies and I would watch them 24/7 when I was around 6. Now I'm 13 and I'd like to go back and question my life decisions 😂😂😂
Even as a kid, I was a little shocked by how surprisingly dark it was. It's still like- Blair's mother was literally murdered. Like, wow. Imo, it's still not as creepy as the scene in The Diamond Castle where they went to that weird house, but still. Also, Delancy Devin was that girl.
the lack of Portia is appalling to me “there’s such a thing as too MUCH perfume” and “look Delancy, they’re serving floor cakes” are the lines from Barbie I have quoted the most
This was my FAVORITE barbie movie when I was a kid. Flipping loved it. I saw no flaws in it. That was until I grew up and realized that dang dog had to be like 19- and was still kicking- like how?
As far as the dancing goes I think it perfectly embodies what a senior graduation prom dance whatever is. “Oh, but they took dance classes!” I hear you saying. And you’d be right. But you all saw how that went.
The point that she was a waitress before but she entered that school and forgot everything about how to make a damn cup of tea is the best thing i had ever seen xd
@@asmijain2695 my comment was more of a point that waitressing doesn't always mean they know how to make the drinks. coffee and tea aren't made the same way so maybe she knew how to make coffee but not tea? not even the baristas at the cafe i worked at made tea, they just gave the ingredients and a cup and had people make it themselves.
