So, It Runs Windows XP?! - Open Labs Miko - Hands on in 2022
Lets take a look at this Open Labs Miko Timbaland Special Edition music workstation from 2008. I don't remember seeing or hearing much about this type of product back in the day. Basically, this is a music workstation that is powered by an Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 CPU 4Gb of RAM and 32 bit Windows XP!
Specs:
Timbaland Special Edition MiKo
37-key
All of the features of the MiKo LX4 plus 4GB RAM
Core2Quad© Quad-core 64-bits (2.4GHz)
EMU-Ensoniq ASR10
ASRX library
QWERTY
Special Arctic White color
Here in 2022, I'd say this now qualifies as a vintage PC. For the time however, I believe the specs were pretty impressive.
This unit came with a lot of pre-installed VSTs, like EMU Proteus X Composer, Mo Phatt, Virtuoso and much more.
