As a returning player who just got all of their gear optimized and set up again, I can say this is an absolute win! I can finally take my life back, and rid myself of this horrible addiction. Having my main builds nerfed back in the early days (Classic M1A, EB, etc.) drove me away the first time, and after returning I’m having too much of a flashback of that to continue playing. Anyways, enjoy the new balancing guys, get to grinding, and I’ll see you guys when Brooklyn drops, or Div 3, whichever actually happens lol
Agreed. All my time spent leveling and perfecting a build only to have it quintuple nerfed - why am I not ecstatic? Striker nerfed, Picaros nerfed, obliterate nerfed, Elmo’s nerfed , Scorpio nerfed - cool I didn’t want to play that build any more anyway. Is GTa6 here yet?
Absolutely dude, let's nerf all of our favourite weapons that we've spent hundreds of exotic components to get to expertise 26 just for them all to now be trash, respecting the players time? I don't think so!
Instead of creating new game modes like survival or 15 vs 15 from Division 1 to Division 2 they come up with nerfs and useless exotic weapons which all end up being stored away. Ubisoft you guys suck!!!
old favorites get nerfed and will be replaced by new ones that become viable. Rotating the favorites and creating hundreds of new builds. Content creators will have much to do now also LOL, The biggest thing they just did was to refresh the playability of the game. Builds are a huge part of what keep us busy in the game. We just got a reset of content. I love it, get tired of the same things all the time. Fresh blood.
Dude every person was just using elmo-strikers it was so annoying. "I pull trigger, I shoot, I deploy shield" *slow clap* incredible work agent. There should be a trade off to using one build over the other, no 1 build should be the best.
Your position is fine if you already have what you wanted. If you haven’t, then this is just more suck. Items desired may no longer be viable… Someone at Ubisoft hates the players, and they continuously maintain the ability to exercise that hate. ❌
I don't have many things I want or have wanted, no Eagle Bearer , Regulus, No Ridgeways Pride, I could go on, but what difference does it make ? If I still wanted something and it just got nerfed, well then I don't care anymore cus it got nerfed. LOL, There were many more Items from Div 1 I never got either. You either enjoy playing or you don't. The game was supposed to stop providing content a year or 2 ago. They were going to let it go. But they decided to stick around a little more and give those of us that stayed some more content. But you not going to see huge teams of people working on this 6 y/o game. And when they do come to us with ideas half the people like them the other half doesn't. They cannot wait for us to get together on a direction. Some will walk away , some who got bored and left will come back at least to see what's going on. Evens out, and if it doesn't well it's a 6 year old game, they wont sink a lot into it. Anyway, I understand peoples passion 1 way or the other. Just pray we get Div 3 and we can start over one more TIME !! LOL Peace ✌
This is going to greatly affect PVP since they are not buffing any of the crit chance mods. It's going to invite a lot of people running high armor builds and pop shot is going to be more meta along with high armor shotgun builds are going to run rampant in dz And conflict. if they don't look at the attachments across the board for crit chance, damage builds will die out since they're already people complaining about bunk builds in PvP which means exotic attachments needs to be looked at across the board as well to even balance The damage nerfs on Brand sets.

So the new gear set is made for the rifles that are now fully automatic and with the new exotic holster fits that’s well with a smg or shotgun as a backup

For me I like the semi auto rifles, more realistic to how they're used and the LW M4 was my favourite. Yes I did just say realism in a sentence about div 2 😅
I was just saying mods need to give more of a buff to make it more worth it. Now you can really feed into a gun's strengths or hopefully mitigate their weakness by changing the mods. 5% just doesn't matter that much. but 10?15? 30? Now we're talking.
im very excited for the perfect allegro buff. the invisible hand is already one of my favorite weapons, now itll be even crazier. also the kingbreaker, heartbreaker, spotter, catharsis build in pvp is gonna be funnyyyyy
The ACS got buffed and the .45 vector got nerfed... LMAO the ACS is what got by far higher dps on the heartbreaker build (and give you insta max stats)... Like I wasn't even running the .45 vector on heartbreaker anymore but an AR for the longer range option.. and now they buff the ACS even more...
They nerfed my entire main build. They must have been watching me. They nerfed all my gear that I maxes out expertise. Wasted my hard effert to grind exotic components. RIP obliterate, RPK, AK-M, picaro's holster and my time.
Remember to allay kick people out of raids or incursions because that’s the way to play if that have no good builds because that’s the way to play soon

Just as they did in The Division 1 cause they lost their player base. N literally this game is there. What makes div2 not as bad is there is alot more content to do then 1 DZ was div1s end game to me. N personally idk how some ppl sleep at night 😂

The only question i want answered is if they are planning to reduce the base difficulty of all the solo content to normal instead of forcing high difficulty settings....
They are taking 10 bullets from the st Elmo’s engine 😑 that was one big reason it was known for. For the 70 bullets it held in one clip. They are literally changing aspects of weapons that make it the weapon, for what exactly?

Huge nerfs all across the board! This is not good! Before, enemies refuse to die due to them being bullet sponges without meta weapons. They will be bullet sponges no matter what. GG Division crew, you idiots.
How do enemies refuse to die? Heroic is supposed to be difficult, just play on a lower difficulty. If enemies aren't dying to a few bullets on normal then you're doing something wrong.
My opinion some of the things to come is good and some are like I’m not even interested in so mixed feelings not sure if I really am interested in spending money to stay up with the game anymore to be honest feels like they are changing the mechanics to be a pvp/pve/raid game now not into pvp or pve and raids are ok but don’t like doing them with randoms as to I don’t have a lot of friends to do them with
lol… I put down Div 1 and Div 2 for years because it’s a smack in the face that devs nerf what I’ve spent hours or days farming only because they refuse to do their math when they first release the weapons and have to keep modifying. Not starting over… guess that’s the boost I needed to try out some other games I wasn’t interested in because I was enjoying a finally stable Division. Peace Agents

so instead of seasonal characters lets nerf everything and make my actual character feel like a seasonal character literally NO ONE wanted this another set of wasted time in resources that'll prolly get reverted since this will be controversial we want content not balance changes we don't want seasonal character bc its not content its making us restart give us more random activities more bounty locations to hunt bounties but lets nerf pve when were supposed to feel powerful yeah I'm done this is basically seasonal character just converted in a way to our actual characters

I don't see what the problem is...they only nerfed strikers, (the most overused brain-dead set in the game) they buffed the others and introduced a gear set that allows you to use guns of varying ranges. Please explain where the problem is.

By meta u mean strikers, elmos, scorpio im guessing? Have them dont use them, never liked striker tbh. But some of my favorite rifles, mostly all got sht on. Did u not see the charts besides the exotics. But if i follow meta I guess thats all that would stand out. Fresh and not stagnant? lol, if that were true the player base would be retained.
All of this is bad. No one uses these weapons for a reason. They force us to use garbage as balance. No one landing shots because bad weapons means luck/connection determine everything. That’s their idea of balance… we’ll make everyone suck. How is this different from Seasonal Characters… which was another nerf?
There's like, what maybe 3K players are still playing this game across all platforms and they nerfed the dog 💩 out of everything that's best in slot to force players players to play the way they want us to.
