I love cowry shells. In the 50s my family and I had a fueling lay-over on Wake Island while on our way to Japan. I briefly walked the beach with my dad and found 3 large/giant cowry and still have them. Great memories indeed.

Look up CHALDEUS CONE SHELL. I think that might be what your mostly black cone shell. Some pictures I saw they had a pink tip.

Your "black cone" is a Chaldean Cone (Conus chaldeus) with a nice pink protoconch!

I think the scientific name of the prickly drupe is Drupa ricinus. The white Hebrew cone is my favorite of that score. Could the dark cone that was inside bonnet near the end be a dark phase of an Eburneus Cone? Thanks too for the great underwater shots.

Love the white hebrew. But still like the serifs and that one real black snakehead.

maybe next time will you go more in-depth into the sand like cuz I see a lot of beautiful pink and I don't know what they are and I would sure love to know and maybe see some of the coral you find as well
