Oh man. So many cars shown that I have history with. My wife and I bought a 1993 Rodeo just before we got married. It was a great car that lasted a long time. I had a friend of a friend that bought a similar Stanza in 1989 after his newly acquired Fiero caught fire. I got to drive it once. So much blue velour! I spotted a white gen 2 RX7 in the background. I got to drive my mom’s roommate’s brand new white ‘87 RX7 for a few days while on a summer visit (sadly a automatic) but I still fell in love with it driving around blasting Crowded House on the cassette player. Great video!! The Turbo Grand Prix most likely just needs the Brake Accumulator replaced. Usually the notorious culprit. Good news Cardone has started to rebuild the abs so you can probably call them and get an Accumulator. You can get them on ebay too and probably other places now. Used to be Ebay was the only place.

Love seeing these cars. I graduated high school in 89 and these were my era of vehicles. I love the Nova but I gotta say that Fiat convertible was super Rad lol!
Ahhh so many rad cars you in the montages that i wanted to hear/see more about but didn't get to :( there's always such cool cars i've never seen before in these videos, makes me wish i was there to check them out
If I had someone to cover me at work I would have went to Radwood this year. But I'll wait until Radwood socal in November , my 1989 Nissan Sentra will be ready for the show by then.
That silhoutte reminds me... When my family visited a friend's house in maine last year, their car that stayed at the house was a pristine Oldsmobile Silhoutte. Tealish green, with all the service records in the glove box. Not fully loaded so no power doors, leather, or fold out child's seat, but still a super neat van. I sure hope i can get it someday when they're ready to sell

My dad bought me that nova for $200 back in 2003 and was a POs but still drove it to school. Car over heated and carried water w me . Had no headliner just insulation and would be on my clothes cause drove the windows down . Lacked in power and couldn’t go up hills lol . Ended up selling it for $50 to the junk yard
@@jonmcclane7433 People throw away those Caravans like they are used paper plates. Pretty soon they will all be hard to find. You don't see the first generation any more at all.
@@jonmcclane7433 I went to Bring A Trailer and searched for Caravans. They have them listed under K-Cars. They have auctioned exactly one since they started and that was a 1989 model. Those early ones are about extinct. if you find one, grab it.

I was super bummed that I couldn't make it to this, but DUDE, this video took a lot of that sting out. I loved the cavalier RS world have been nice to see a Pontiac 6000 STE a car off the A-body platform but no one really saves them and I know there’s people that do because they know what it is and there the people I appreciate because the 6000 STE was the America performance sedan of the 80’s
Sounds like you need to start a vintage car rental business to help manage the costs and enable younger enthusiasts to have the experiences that has fueled our loyalty to this era. I'm in the middle of master cylinder maddness on my 84 gti, hopefully on the road soon.
If I could make it I would bring my 1999.5 Nissan Pathfinder. Possibly have the youngest vehicle allowed to be there. Assuming it is for only 80's and 90's cars.
