Your shout casting with wolfy on that final game was such a highlight for me, your energy and chemistry together was wonderful. The games were all great but I never would have understood anything were it not for the years I've been learning from your videos. The commentators all kept it interesting and easy to follow, but you and wolfy shone especially bright with your passion and skill explaining so much at lightning speed. It's an impressive skill in its own right!
i love how even after getting bailed out by luck in game 2, Aaron still talks about what he could’ve done differently to win if the rng wasn’t in his favour. it really shows how good of a player he is that he acknowledges his mistakes and doesn’t take good luck for granted
I just want to say that I really appreciate that you show your losses and walk back what you may have been able to do differently. I sometimes am hard on myself for losses, especially before I’m even in masterball, and it helps to remind myself that even Cybertron and Wolfe lose games sometimes. Another great upload, I look forward to these
Incineroar's ability activating before Kyogre's at the start of Leonard and Shiliang's match was one of my favorite moments from Indy🤣 I've run into a lot of Miraidon teams ever since Indianapolis Regionals and I'm always dumbfounded by how much damage Volt Switch and Discharge do even into Pokemon that resist them
It's always fun to see the nicknames when it gets to the team select screen. This time it's a Powerpuff Girls theme, with Miraidon as Bubbles it seems with the name hidden and the classic PPG character, Ursaluna, who just has no nickname for some reason 😂
I'm a Miraidon believer just based off the fact that Kyogre will always be somewhat relevant in VGC, and Miraidon especially with tera have such an amazing matchup against it. I'm looking forward to all the ground teras and lightning rod/motor drive techs people will have to scrounge around with to cope against Miraidon
Hey, wanted to let you know this video was a huge help. This was the first ever competitive team I put together and got to master ball tier within the first 24 hours of ever entering battle stadium!
I just recently started playing VGC again since not playing since ORAS. Picked up this team from victory road and started playing to get a feel for the metagame. But ogerpon just seemed like it didnt have much synergy. Seeing that there is a ditto version, as well as rajan not bringing ogerpon in his modified NAIC version of the team makes a ton of sense now.
Its funny bc ppl still dont know how to use it you go on ladder or the most recent tornament and its always specs electro drift and if you remove the terrain they lost their mind and dont know what to do
Both through the TCG and VGC, Miraidon proves itself to be the best still. I really love Miraidon too. It's so cute. (I'm mainly talking about the TCG meta in Japan right now. It won a major tournament over there.)
watching back most of indy, seeing Miraidon 1 shot a Latios from full HP just boggled my mind, Latios is not that frail and resists the move, and Miraidon still killed it. what an absurd mon
i know it doesnt really matter but be cool to see you customize your trainer card instead of just having the default. taking it another step and doing a different one each video would be dope. as always love and appreciate the content!
I made a team very similar to this but I had scarf rapid strike over ogrepon, max speed jolly incin, and different move set for the 🦒. Everything else was pretty much the same.
I recreated this team on cart but made Miraidon timid instead of modest since flutter mane chien pao and koraidon all have 135 base speed. The team is really fun to use IMO.
Electro Dirft with Helping Hand + Choice Specs + Tera Electric + Hadron Engine one-shots max HP Terapagos THROUGH Tera Shell. That's how strong it is. It one-shots a legendary that forces your move to be not very effective.
Why does this team run Power Whip on the ogerpon instead of its other two grass moves? Like of course it’s valuable in a restricted format with chonkers like Kyogre and there’s no recoil like Wood Hammer going into a huge hp bank, but 85 acc feels so rough on it.
my guess is that with max speed max attack adamant the the horn leach healing doesn't do a lot for you and that because of sturdy you don't want to wood hammer.
I hope you'll give a Zamazenta team a video. I thought it would play really slow and be a boring wall but the teams I've tried with so far have been relatively offensive and its a ton of fun to position.
Team creator throws a bunch of random powerpuff girl names on pokemon that don’t relate to them at all then doesn’t call Ursaluna Fuzzy Lumpkins (granted it would need to be shortened slightly for the character limit). I haven’t seen the show in 20 years and that took 5 seconds to come up with
Damn, I was always rooting for Regigigas and wanted to see what it could do but last time it wasn't picked and this time it just gets absolutely destroyed. Really shows how powerful recent mons are and Regigigas is now just an underwhelming pokemon with a huge drawback, with no unique utility to hold a position in competitive
What’s scary is you actually could’ve lost game 2. If he encored your Incineroar, he would’ve won since you chose to fake out his Miraidon. You would’ve been forced to use Fake Out with no chance to switch out. Good thing he forfeited instead.
I'm guessing he didn't have Encore which is why he forfeited - it's not very common on Iron Bundles these days (only 14% of them run it, hard to give up one of Icy Wind, Freeze Dry, Hydro Pump, and Protect) - great point though, definitely could have been a way to lose!
I’m new to VGC…how do you get get the legendary Pokémon ivs, stats, nature as you want them since you can’t breed? Probably an elementary question but as I said I’m new to VGC. Thanks!
Natures can be changed with mints. As far as IVs, if you’re looking for certain IVS (0 Speed, 0 Attack) I think you’ll have to soft reset until you get the desired stats.
There's items for everything, even hidden abilities, the only thing in the game left that is tedious to get is a zero speed iv legendary, still have to just soft reset for that
I remember back when Aaron Zheng had the Kim Jong Un cut. Good times. Thanks for this video. I want to run Miraidon and this gives me an idea on how to make my own team around Miraidon.
