Pragg missed out due to time pressure. Both players were moving quickly, and they might have considered the final moments of the game to avoid running out of time.
Endgames are super tough, even for the super GMs. The only player whom you can count on to cash in such winning positions is Magnus. It seems like a thorough mastery of non-trivial endgames is the final frontier for players like Pragg and Gukesh.
Calculation strong chiye .. Centers control strong End game best strong chiye.. Badme ape ka ELO jayada hoga i think 😮 Opening best knowledge honaa chiye... 30+ Point hoga..sub ishme nay bata pavunga...😮😮
In tata steel masters, gukesh threw his winning position by miscalculating three fold repetition in move 40, so it ended in a draw.. In head to head, it's been gukesh who had the upper hand against pragg in classical..Only in the last two instances at Prague masters and sinquefield cup, pragg got advantages and blundered but overall gukesh has been converting against pragg except the last two occasions
Really getting concerned for Gukesh now. Since his last outing in Candidates, his appearences have been subpar, constantly getting in troubles and slipping only because of opponents not converting. Ding seems to be recovering to his normal self too. Hope Guki got planned it out or he might be in serious trouble in wcc
Bro literally finished joint first in the last classical tournament of GCT and never lost a single classical game after candidates but still you are concerned 😔.
@@chesswithsamarth1004 The concerns are valid. Even in gct he was getting himself in constant troubles and was lucky his opponents didn't convert. Taking enough time only to blunder early on in Ding game to now making suboptimal moves against Pragg. This isn't the Gukesh I remember
That is because he risks. He knew he needed to be more safetely in candidates. If this match would be at candidates, he would searching for a draw and not making bb4
@@Dunker6577 Do you think these incidents are lucky or coincident? you can't play 100 percent accuracy chess every game , even if he plays perfect chess that will end in a draw. If you want to win a game , you have to complicate and imbalance the position. Moreover defending lost or worst position is also an art. In WCC matches all kinds of situations will come and he has to be ready with all those situations. And he has black pieces in both game .(which you mentioned) so these things can happen and with white pieces he also put pressure on Nepo. That's why how winning a game from equal position is important , saving draw from lost position is also important.
