Looks great pal. Can i make a suggestion. Instead of trying to nail everything get some mitre bond. Use a couple of dabs with the glue you are using and the mitre bond will hold everything while your glue goes off.

Hello Mate..... may I suggest an electric or preferably air powered nail gun. They are great for fixing things like the mdf and little triangles whilst the glue goes off and you dont get the banging of the hammer. Less or no splitting too as the brads are very fine.....looks good though....keep up the good work!

M8 cracking video looks amazing. Reckon u might need look at investing in table saw and mitre saw and small dust extractor. If it helps the one i run the einhell is sitting around the 130 mark the now and heard good things about evolutions job site saw. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿👍 Lumberjack mitre saw and dust extractor would set u about 200 ish.

Very nice i did ours before christmas was going to be like yours then my good lady was looking in some mags and in the end went all the way up first time i had done it looks ok after paint well done👍👍

Keep an eye out in Aldi for their cordless nail gun .. it will be a DIY game changer for you

I think there were probably better ways of mounting the shelves. Watching the mdf split on the nail is like finger nails on a chalk board for me 😂But you've got some nice ideas

@@northernworks give HomeByMe a try. It's incredible and really easy to get to grips with. Far easier than sketchup for doing building/renovating type plans.

Also can I make 2 tool recommendations, I'm currently doing my house up too, and I can't stress how much easier a nail gun has made my life, just a £30 titan one from screwfix and a wagner FLEXiO paint sprayer 👌

Ah nice! I thought about a nail gun but couldn’t find anything in a price range I was happy with - £30 sounds ace! Is it holding up ok?

@@northernworks I also have a cheap titan nailer, and yeah, its been brill. Only things I dislike about it.. It can marr the surface if you dont hold the nailer hard to the surface your nailing, but that might just be me having the power set to high. Also its corded.. which can be a pain in the bum, but, I'd rather have one with a cord, than none at all :)

@@James_Gower @northernworks Its been great for such a cheap nailer, I found you had to press really hard against the surface before it would fire, then I removed the rubber guard and it's miles more responsive 👌

@@northernworks I bought one and I didn't think much of it. It's gathering dust in the garage. If you can send me your address it's yours. I'm happy to see if you can get more out of it than I can and help the channel along! The ferrex cordless nail gun on the other hand is amazing for the price, it's been faultless for me.
