The realisation you wrote redemption-ronpa shocked me so much!??!? i remember that being one of the first ever instaronpas I read! I haven't finished reading it yet *cough cough not enough freetime* but it sure inspired me to make my own insta-ronpa! (I haven't posted anything of it yet, as I'm going to try outline and write the story before realeasing it) Anyways, thank you so much for the series! I'm looking forward to see what other content you make!
Damn, this was a really good series. I hope that this will help a lot of aspiring creators to start getting their projects off the ground. Also thanks for answering my question, it was good to hear someone else's insight. I wanted to give some general writing advice concerning themes. A theme is important, but what's equally important is your story's controlling idea (basically what your story's message is). To give an example: danganronpa 1's message is generally that no matter how bad a situation gets, don't give up hope, there's always light at the end of the tunnel. This message is conveyed through the games protagonist Makoto being someone who embodys this idea. While it's antagonist Junko, embodies the complete opposite of that. Makoto ultimately proves her wrong as he helps the others to understand that they still have a reason to keep going despite everything. Basically, when writing any story, start with a message you want to convey, and think about how to convey it through your characters.
This was a good video series. I am a fangan creater and I see this being useful for many starting out to make a Danganronpa. As for video suggestion ideas maybe you could open a community post on RU-vid for those to share their fangans or smaller fangans. Then you could depend on the content offer first impressions or a review. Since I do think that would be useful in highlighting fangans that go under the radar and to help give constructive criticism to the creator. I would be interested in your thoughts on other fangans in general.
I just finished watching all of these and I think it would really help me improve my fangan in the future! When I first started my fangan I had no idea what I was doing and created a mess lol. The first ch. Was a disaster since i didnt really plan things out properly and it caused me to lose motivation to do it. I should've done my research before making it so that I could see how a properly made fangan is done. Though my fangan is in its 3rd ch. rn I will try my best to improve it and use the tips you suggested! Tysm for making this series, its very helpful ❤❤❤
What Im personally struggling with is the trial format... Do you know how I can maje my character sprites 3d and what software(s) i should use for making a trial? Kinda liks how Despair Time does it actually. Ive drawn all my sprites and whatnot, so thats the main thing Id like to get in order lol
Another sounds like an extra word, unless you’re writing an actual sequel I’d lose it all together Gateway to Despair rolls off the tongue a lot better
Also I forgot to mention! I don't think this will be your last episode since there will be some comments you missed or new ones will appear -by the same random ahh stranger
