As if the parents arrested, charged, arraigned, prosecuted and adjudicated the entire proceeding. They must have magically taken over the bodies of everyone who sat in the jury box and found her guilty, then magically jumped into the bodies of the bailiff as who led her mother to jail. I live near these people. My mama knows Rebecca and has been to many events she was also attending. This is not the first time she has done something like this. She has previous DUIs and she has gotten away with them. She is not a “philanthropist”. She has a wealthy husband and married into money. Goes to functions and gets plastered. Grossman continued to drive with one of the boys on her hood. When he fell off, she ran over him again. She continued to flee the scene until her car shut down. This didn’t even begin to TOUCH on her disgusting attempts to save her entitled self. Her money allowed for this to be dragged out for years. She has a track record. Would be surprised if she doesn’t get velvet furniture in her ‘cell’.

Considering that they’re mad at the parents of the little boys that their mother killed I think it’s unlikely. If there was a chance of that, their anger would be directed in the right place… at their own mother, she destroyed that family and she’s the one destroying her own family. If they can’t see that, I don’t think there is much hope for them. 😕
This case is infuriating. The conduct she engaged in is something I’m used to seeing in teenagers and people in their 20s. Drinking, taking Xanax and driving 80mph in a residential area… I just can’t. This woman could have hired a driver. And her lawyers are idiots. They should have worked out a deal for her. Going to trial was beyond stupid. She mowed down two little boys and hasn’t even apologized. And that daughter blaming the parents of the slaughtered kids is truly sickening.

Her mother is going to jail because she made the choice to drive while intoxicated, drove over the speed limit, hit and killed two little boys and took off leaving their bodies in the road.The only one responsible is her mother. Followed this case for the whole 3.5 years. It's still incredible how long this was delayed and how her headshot never magically surfaced. The daughter of the killer comes out the worst of all. Her website and testimony were so riddled with lies. It's weird watching the entitled not getting what they want for the first time in their lives.

May God be with the Iskanders as they grieve the loss of their sons. It seems wrong to me that it took nearly 4 years to hear this case. Are the courts really that backlogged? What a nightmare for the Iskanders. As Mrs. Iskander stated, "Each day was like attending a funeral." This is such a gross story of entitlement for Grossman. Two deaths should be a life sentence in my opinion. I don't care how wealthy she is. She is not above the law and as a mother, she used poor judgment when she decided to race home intoxicated. She must be an unhappy woman. It is sad and the daughter sounds entitled, too. They want to appeal the case. I know that is what people do, but it will cause more pain for all involved.
Im Sure the Judge is going to mention her NOT showing remorse OR apologizing and is going to add that fact into her sentencing And she actually screwed herself bc now if she shows remorse at her sentencing its admitting to Guilt If she doesn't it shows she doesn't take Responsibility. "Your mother drank like an irresponsible teen, chose to drive drunk, chose to go 50 miles roughly over the speed limit in a residential area, didn't stop at a crosswalk with people on it, killed two children roughly your age, then tried to pin the murder by lying that "her boyfrined" had done it.- The evidence.
She is well connected, and has donated to political campaigns. Let's hope that the governor doesn't commute her sentence in a few years. She should spend the rest of her life in prison. And not the minimum security country club type of incarceration camp.

The fact Grossman's daughter attacked the parents whose children her own mother had killed tells me all I need to know about this entitled family. Meanwhile the fact the mother who lost her own children felt sorry for the perpetrator and her daughter despite their behaviour tells me how humble and loving that family is.
The fact that she showed no emotion or was not empathetic for plowing through those boys speaks volumes on how evil she is. And for her kids and husband whom she cheated on to stand there and only cry for there mother being sentence like they were surprised that she was even found guilty. The Grossman family should be ashamed of themselves for blaming the boys family on "how they could do that" to their murderous mother. Absolutely sicking.

People are saying she will get little time due to having money, but let’s remember folks that people were also saying she’d walk because of her money. If I were a betting man, the judge/jury won’t take her financial status into account this time. + they’ve got to witness the reactions of the “losing” side. Slap that women with 2 life sentence, for the 2 lives that were tragically lost due to…MURDER! Requesting the judge not the jury to decide the fate feels to me that the defense attorneys have lost faith for sympathy from the citizen of the community and now are seeking some sort of corrupt leverage. You go up against a JURY....you better be ready to face the music. They do not like to be toyed with. Those two precious children cried out for justice. This woman did not help her case at all with the preposterous blaming of a man she was having an affair with. These are the types of jury duties you hope you get called to serve on.

I think you mean consecutively not concurrently. Consecutively means the sentences run one after the other. Concurrently mean that the sentences would run at the same time. I agree that they should 1000% run consecutively she needs as much time as possible
As a teacher of 35+ years, although I never had children of my own but II had made connections with a large community of young people over the years. Some of whom died in their 20s and 30s, accidentally and just as sadly, to suicide. To this very day I think about them and feel loss and sorrow, even though they weren’t my own kids. So, the amount of pain this family is going through to me is incomprehensible. The photos of those children just made me cry. What I say could ever repair what happened but I just send them so much love and kindness energy!
I cant believe she has no remorse, or doesnt seem to from her exterior. If that was me, i wouldnt have made it long enough to go to trial. I dont know what i would have done, but i wouldve done something to myself and still feel like it wasn't enough. My God. Those two sweet little boys.
