There’s no required amount on the direct deposit to get 4.6%. Non direct deposit deposits are required to be $5k if you don’t have any direct deposits.
I like Sofi and need to reestablish my relationship. I like Navy, and Penfed is alright but once my check leaves are done I'm closing the account. I know. I don't know how I'm going to finish the check leaves but Navy and my local credit union is good enough. But why Chase? What does Chase do that is special? I just closed my account cause all they were giving me are fees if I went under 1500
Do you use the SOFI checks? I have a SOFI account for my online bank and never used the checks. Really like the vaults. I would say they are very fast for moving money from my checking and savings to my local credit union. It is done within 1 day. Very happy for this.
I am watching all of your videos for a long time. I have some quick question: 1. Is there a hassle to get the latest rate over a year when it went up in SOFI or any other banks in the video? 2. Is there CD options for any banks for future? Different products like loan or mortgage benefits etc? 3. Do Sofi Bank consider wire transfers as check deposits and I heard they hold the money how true is it?
I had the same question but all I saw was limits on deposits or transfers at SoFi for the 4.6% APY and bonus. So I chose Wealthfron b/c they will accept any amount for deposits or transfers and give you a 5% APY, debit card, investing and lots more. There is a currently 3-month promotion that will boost the APY to 5.5% which can be renewed to 6 month by inviting a friend to join. Wealthfront seems to me a better choice. There is also Robinhood that offers 5.5% APY with a debit card that gives you 3% back on purchases.
@@kenleder9632so I make less than $5,000 monthly. But set up my employee check to go directly to SoFi checking account. That’s enough to qualify for the 4.60% savings?

@@JustMoneyish Do i still receive the 4.60 apy if I simply set up a direct deposit. What if I dont meet the 5l requirement for the 30 days. Does that mean i only get a 1.20apy?
So if you don’t do direct deposit, to get the extra benefits you have to deposit 5,000 a month; but you can’t deposit more than 5,000 a month because of limits, and you have to do it throughout the month because of other weekly limits (3000) and daily limits (1000)?
@@Thug2u most places take both so it doesn’t really matter tbh…maybe if it were American Express though there would be a bit of hiccups…but mastercard is fine!
