Captial one has better cusotmer service and they have a local location i can go to in my town. Decided to go with capital one

SoFi is my current "money hotel" for my Direct Deposit. I keep money in Savings for the interest rate and as free overdraft protection. The rest of my cash reserves are in accounts, not Raisin, that pay a higher rate. I did open a Capital One 360 account when they had a $350 welcome bonus. However my Zelle access is with my longtime Ally account.

I have to ask why did you say “not Raisin”? What is wrong with them? I just opened a CD recently, I’m almost afraid to hear your answer.

A CD you're tying up your money and you're left without being able to touch your money for a certain amount of time with the savings account you can touch it whenever you want not saying you should but you just let it keep building and building and adding and adding and adding to it as you build it I recently just opened up a account with them because I was getting so much money through the holiday season from Amazon and I'm sitting there looking and I'm like damn I got seven Grand and a bank account that has no savings to it at all it's like a 0.1 or something like that so I was like screw that I'm moving Banks let that money grow by itself year@@justand928

I got Charles SW for my Checking no ATM fee charge debit card and Capital one and American express for my saving both of them 4.35 not much different from Sofi but I don't have to set up direct deposit

If I transfer money from an existing checkings account to my sofi checkings account would I be charged? And does it show up right away or do I have to wait til the money shows up?

@@DK-bm5rg10k x 5% = 500 over the course of the year. If you want per month you’d just divide that by /12 and you’re left with 60 So you’d be receiving about 60 a month.
