Very nice off grid property, I bought a similar off grid property nearly 20 years ago, built a nice cabin with solar power and rainwater catchment/ storage. Retired now, I love it.
I watch a lot of RU-vid videos showing maine properties and also off grid/bushcraft/survival type videos. And no, I’ve never seen a realtor who climbs trees. Thanks for the video and info on that cool product. I might have to get myself one of those.

@@richardtheriault7624 I have conversations with myself every day/week. Buy now, wait ( prices come down???) or give up on the dreams. It’s tough when most of the family thinks I’m nuts.
Great looking piece of land. On your walk in I saw water accumulating in some of the ruts in the road, what are the chances that there is a natural spring in that area? Thanks!
The mic is pretty good when stationary, but yes the distortion while walking was present. I wonder if that is what it sounds like to a deer when I am walking through the woods?
My steps are at least 20 years old, and still in great condition. I have about 16 sets that I used when I was guiding. They are darn nice. People can buy them here now: www.wildedgeinc.com
There are lenders in Maine that will loan money for raw land. Typically they will want 35% down, ant the term will be for 15 years or less. You will want to use a local Maine lender for the purchase in my opinion. Katahdin Trust and Machias Savings Bank are two local lenders that will mortgage land. There are others as well.
Well the seller had a cistern set up and collected rainwater runoff in an area that rain water would collect to run down the mountain. He used that for washing up. Probably would want to filter it for drinking.@@nomadicrecovery1586
The only problem with drilling a well is you are on top of a small mountain. I have no idea how deep or shallow that well may have to be. There is no owner financing on this piece.
