About this van:
Jesse has loved travel since college, where she travelled a lot and so when the covid pandemic hit and her work as an electrical engineer went remote, she saw it as the perfect opportunity to move around her country a bit and get on the road! She started out in just a car, but once she realised how much she loved the lifestyle, she made the jump and upgraded to this awesome, self-converted campervan! It's a seriously cool van conversion, with some epic security features and a truly luxurious shower!

I held out pretty well as she described one cool feature after another, but by the time she opened the rear doors I was officially jealous. :) 800+ah of battery? Wow that's the way to go, hot water and cooking without the risk and hassle of propane.

Great van. I'm planning to go stealth with an office in mind so nothing exterior and the roof with be filled with solar panels. Shower will be hidden as well for an open floor plan. Can't wait to join the Van Life living but realistically, it's probably going to be 12-18 months or longer for me before I can start. 😔

I especially love this van - especially the kitchen and bathroom. The deep dink and large fridge/freezer are great, as well as the heated floor.

"High-security van conversion - How she keeps vanlife safe" Why the false headline? Just to grab attention / clickbait? Less than 30 seconds dedicated to security - 17 seconds on a SimplySafe setup that she admittedly does not / can not use. The remainder of the "safety & high-security" is about 11 seconds mentioning a safe she retrofitted - pointed to, described, but never seen... Not at all what was expected from your headline - I WANT those wasted 10 minutes back!

i came here waiting for that info too. plus i feel that if it were "high security," she would've maybe had a wall separating the cab from the main living area. otherwise i enjoyed the rest of the build/tour.

Always curious why American conversions have the kitchen "blocking the entrance on the siding door side while on uk/ European conversions they tend to have the kitchen opposite the sliding door and seating facing forward. can't decide between advantages and disadvantages of both

One advantage to the sink being on the sliding side is that with the right faucet it can double as an outdoor shower, doggie wash, or rinsing station.

That simply safe will be a life saver at night when our sleeping, so in reality I feel that it is a good purchase for you. Remember you are a woman. I myself no matter how much self defense I know and what fire arms I have, the first defense is your windows and front door. Being safe and protected at all times is a good thing. So yes it is a great purchase. Great van to. Cute dog , enjoy have fun, stay safe and healthy.

You can get a swing out arm for your bike rack so you can open the doors. There is no way I could get my ebike on a raised rack like that. haha
