@@monni3250DNS is what keeps you in the solo lobby without lagging out, you dont need to change it, but if you dont you will be lagged out of the lobby at times.
For Confusion, Once you pick the map up and turn your internet or Console Off, All you have to do after that is keep spawning into camp and picking up the map then turning off your console/internet. Also after changing your DNS and MTU settings just load into free roam then boom solo lobby.
@@monni3250yes you have to be in a solo lobby, The DNS and MTU are your internet CUSTOM settings that you have to change in order to be in a solo lobby. For DNS your top row will be 1.0.0.1 and the bottom will be 1.1.1.1. Your MTU will be changed to 900. To change these settings, go to your internet on your console, click custom then you’ll be able to change these settings.
@@oxconcede2841 if you have ever picked up the map off the tree before (recently and before you watched this video) you’ll have to wait 3 days until the map respawns, the lobby that you were spawning into was it solo? You have to be in a solo lobby before you set your camp up in heartlands, once you do that, pause the game and go to online and load into free roam, once you load in, pause the game again, go and load into your camp that is set up near flatneck station, once you load, go to the tree and the map will be there, when you pick the map up and see what kind of map it is on the right of your screen, turn your internet or your console off. Then rinse and repeat spawning into your camp and picking up the map and turning your console or internet off until you get the map that you want (lake Isabella probably) if this didnt fix it, add me on PlayStation - Salkazar

I got the lake issabella map thankfully but i kinda wanted all 29 i was doing it perfectly then all the sudden it was just gone after 8 times it worked successfully
I don’t have a single map, I’m lvl 7 or 8 and I set up my dns and mtu exactly like yours. logged into free roam set up my camp, and then I joined free roam again went to my camp (it was daylight) and it wasn’t there. I waited till it got nighttime, and did all the steps again and it still wasn’t there ?
So my buddy turned off his internet before he grabbed the map like cause I was explaining it to him and now the map isn’t there when he loaded back in know why this is?
It’s sadly because since he didn’t disconnect his internet or turn off his console in time, if he didnt get the map or all the maps, he’ll have to wait for a 72 hour cool down.
You didn’t turn off your console or internet fast enough, I recommend if your on ps4 do the double tap so you can easily switch from your game to internet settings to turn off your internet. But as for now, you will have to wait 72 hours because theres a cool down.

Heres the thing i tried it i did everything right but after i went to my solo lobby i spawned away from blackwater n then i started going to blackwater and i saw a treasure hunter i went up to him but i declined to get the map and i ran to blackwater now im trying but the map doesnt spawn on the tree i grabbed some maps from my mailbox before thay i had idk if thats the case
Because you interacted with the treasure hunter, you're now on a 3 day cooldown. That's been the case with me anyway. This method works 99.5% of the time. But every now and again, it can glitch out where it doesn't spawn a map. If that's the case, make sure there's no bounties now your location. Also, you can try to spawn into your camp like 3-4 times in a row. Sometimes trying a new session helps quite a bit.
Sometimes the map doesnt spawn and you have to load bavk into camp and go check, but most often the problem is that people don’t turn their console or their internet off fast enough. I recommend as soon as you see the map pop up on the right of your screen, you double tap your ps button (to quickly go back to your internet settings) and turn your internet off and then back on. Try making a bee character on a new account and try it again, if it doesnt work, Add me on PS. Username is Salkazar.
@@VanMDRE I was trying the method whree you just cut the internet connection as well. It would work once, twice, maybe three tiimes but then would throw me into a cooldown for a beautiful 72 hours. What I started doing on PS5 instead after having to deal with cooldown's maybe 5 or so times is just closing the app. Yes, it takes a fair bit longer to farm but in the end at least I wasn't dealing with cooldown constantly.And I was even counting down from 5 the second I held triangle down to grab the map, I'd go to network settings and disconnect at 5 seconds. For whatever reason, my console constantly registered the fact that I had grabbed a map. Either way though, this location/method is the absolute best available to us for sure man!
Go to your Xbox Or PlayStation Settings. Once your there click on it i believe itll say custom, when you click custom, click the internet you use, skip through til you get to DNS. Once you put in the DNS the MTU should be right after.
@@SpookyHorse1239 i dont have a xbox so i recommend looking it up. Finding it should be the same way, just go to internet settings and set up internet connection, click whether you use wifi or lan cable, after that itll show a option for automatic or custom, click custom, thats where you will find them.
@@SpookyHorse1239 ive been told you have to go to advanced settings to find DNS in xbox, so i wanna assume thats where you go to find MTU unless for some reason xbox doesnt have MTU? Ive never had an xbox so i wouldnt know
@@danielxtv24 someone said you have to wait 72 hrs after you get a map I got a map because I went another 5 levels . But it was not from this but ig I will wait ?
