This clear was BY FAR my most scuffed run. THANK GOD vault skip is insane so I wasn't punished for hitting the wall on my drop down. I also messed up the grapple to get vault skip but that worked out. For lava launch, I never ended up making it to Acclyde's spot by the blue pillar, but I found another spot that was a little closer and that eventually got me the clear. It was about a 25% success rate for me, so if you can't make it to the pillar you may as well try my launch spot.
HUGE shoutout to Acclyde for cooking the shit out of this encounter, I got essentially all of the strats from his cook, I just added in my own lava launch spot as well as a melee swap to cancel transcend that allows you to use grapple for vault skip.
I fucking love this encounter. This was a pretty fun solo imo cause I learned a lot about mountaintop launches spawn manipulation and it's not really affected by the power delta changes. The tricks start with the most difficult then get progressively easier so it's not such a huge pain to retry spam. Took me about 10 hours but I should have cleared about 5-6 hours in if I wasn't a nervous wreck the second I make new progress.
