Sorry poor Mattie had to abandon ship, but bully you carrying on solo! Gorgeous area! I do love castles! I'm alos very jealous you have a Hover drone! I had looked at getting one but at the time they weren't available in Canada! I should check again. Thanks for another great adventure, Brendan!

I know the entrance fees seem a lot but its this money that keeps these lovely places from being levelled and turned into building land. We need to support where we can otherwise sites like these will go the way of the Crooked house. The way i look at it is you reinvest the money saved by not paying for campsites into the area you are visiting and they may become more receptive to folks not always using a campsite. That is just my opinion though.😊. Hope you enjoyed your curry and family time.

That's a very good point 👍 and I agree but I'm still poor so have got to still count the penny's 🤣. I'm hoping one day I'll be able to not have to worry about entrance fees for places etc. These places do need protecting though 👍

Hi Brendan its been great doing a bit of a binge watching of your videos from the Car Camping to the Van Build and beyond... as i've said before i'm on my 1st Vivaro camper Build, Tintern & the Wye Valley is around 40 mins from where i live in Cardiff and often go there with my wife for a coffee and ice cream.... All i can say is the next time your in wales Please hunt down some traditional Welsh Cakes, Or if i know your in the Welsh Valleys again We'll buy them and hopefully meet up for a Cuppa & Welsh Cakes.

Id suggest Byland Abbey, free entry for an abbey in a similar state as Tintern, plus maybe a few pull up camp spots too.

Hey buddy 🙂 yes, I collaborated with a company called Shore Vans 👍. Great product and the curtain rails are quality being metal construction. Shoot them a message over, tell them I sent you and what van you have and they will look after you 😁. NC500 will probably be next year now but it's definitely something I want to do one day!
