I discovered this nine years later and am so impressed. It looks like an episode of Soul Train, with everyone dancing in the background. Solomun, you're a musical genius.

From 28:02 to 28:06 there's a perfect coordinated movement between Solomun and the curly haired girl with the withe sweater on the back, also with the final clap. Amazing.

I like Solomun, because he is clearly very emotionally charged and empathetic. He understands how the emotion of the song creates a backdrop for the set and how it flows from melancholic to bit dark to amped up for the party to hopeful to post-high depressive vibes to being made whole again. It's a journey.

If I was a billionaire, I would pay for all these characters and Solomun to do a reunion of this set.

Myself and my brother would listen to this set with our Dad, he was a big Solomon fan. He passed away 3 days ago. Now i listen as a way of connecting with him. 70 years old today and just got into house music this last year due to Solomun and especially the last track" Hoping"a superb track has everything.

Two days ago me and my friends went to an event here in Warsaw, Poland where there was a reconstruction of this set. The club was packed (in fact, the whole gig was moved to a bigger place because of its popularity) and people loved it. We loved it as we knew all the tracks and sounds. There was a guy impersonating our King Solomun and a bunch of people playing the Tulum's audience. Even the lights were going down mimicking the night falling down there. The set is a masterpiece and we all felt the vibe 🎉❤

A timeless masterpiece. The characters in the crowd,…it’s like watching a movie with Jacquin Phoenix playing Solomon

It sadness me to see this set, I have rewatched this set at least 10 times, and everytime I realise that there can never be a set like this now. Everybody just living in the moment, no phones in sight. People just vibing, connecting, having fun.

This is still one of my favorites to come back to. What an inexplicably amazing crowd, the ratio of beautiful woman to the occasionally nerdy guy is brilliant. And all lead by the smooth melodic beats of Solomun, part time Dad throwing down his best wedding dance moves, part time game of thrones extra in sunglasses, full time legend of our time.

Solomun is one of these DJs who I feel like doesn't feel the need to unnecessarily twist knobs. Everything he does in this video has a purpose and I applaud him for that. One of my go-to videos when I'm feeling not so great

Has anyone ever noticed when King Solomun enters the crowd to dance, at 1:49:30, unbeknownst to "hat girl." When she realizes he's gone she panics for a split second then sees him in the crowd. Then, before she starts her way to him, she feels for her phone on the table but initially doesn't find it. She panics, turns her head away from the dance floor and her target (Solomun), and finds it. Then she makes her way towards him.

I will never get over this set. 6 years after the first time I heard it. Too much.

I wish he had played 'Hoping' in between and instead ended the set with 'Something we all Adore'. I don't go clubbing much anymore but when he plays this track, it takes me right back to the peak of '15, '16 and '17.
