Aligning our Cybersecurity philosophy with that of the Spartan Warrior’s is a direct parallel; their use of the Phalanx as a defensive measure in battle. A Phalanx is formed by compact columns of layered shields as a defense against attack, like a dome. The Phalanx is extremely resilient as it can adapt to a change in situations (it can move with a Warrior as threats change or attack from different directions), as well as defend areas that have been damaged.
