You can't complete the square diectly on this calculator, but you can use it to find the roots and the turning point. These two pieces of information would allow you write down the completed square form.

You will get complex numbers as solutions to a quadratic equation when b^2

The i in your answers will be the square root of negative 1. You must be entering values of a, b and c for which the discriminant b^2 - 4ac is negative, which will give roots that are complex numbers. Good luck for your exam!
