I enjoy how Ganon is sending these monsters to stop them finding the secret stones, but the only reason theyre being found is because of the monsters messing with the people

My favorite thing about this series is that despite how often RT will completely miss obvious solutions, he's actually quite mechanically good at the game.

Today RT discovers the biggest annoyance in TOTK: chasing after your sages to activate their powers. Worst is that the lightning power is wielded by someone who is melee in combat

I legit thought RTJame was doing the Jerudo thing intentionally.

Truly the dark souls of Zelda games

Something important you should know about the Froggy Armor (the armor that gives slip resistance) is that you can still slip on wet surfaces but you climb more. You need to upgrade the set to level 2 to climb up wet surfaces without slipping at all. You will need 24 sticky lizards (9 for level 1 and 15 for level 2). If you ever see them, I recommend grabbing them because for me I went insane trying to get enough without a guild yo find their location. You will need another monster drop to upgrade to level 2 but it’s not as hard to get.

At the end of this stream chat had gone so hard on the J bit that RT was literally afraid to raid someone because of how overwhelming it would be.

As an interesting tidbit: You can actually Ascend up into the boss room (albeit by yourself) before you beat the temple. The game actually knows that you can, and will unlock a way out (temporarily) if you should do so and let you out. Discovered that on my own.

Watching RT accidentally do Blood Moon Storage was quite funny, given his reaction to the blood moon occuring.

That entire cinematic at 51:46 was so cool, its just a shame the Lightning power is so hard to actually use realistically...

RT really did the equivalent of a wind bomb instead of building a bridge

2:43-2:55 i'd argue that being able to deduce that all the blocks fit in the square hole requires more free-thinking than following the instructions

It doesn't matter the intended answer, a rocket is a feasible solution to most problems

From this episode alone, I can definitely see RT saying JIF instead of GIF.

Finally, Jerudo town is safe.

This was the first ever RT stream I caught, and I greatly enjoyed jormenting jim jith j's jor jispronouncing Gerudo. Jit jas ja jun goke. Jeedlessly jomplex, jut jun jegardless. Also fun fact, we were doing that j thing so much that RT was genuinely scared to do a twitch raid like usual, we literally became like a curse he was afraid to unleash upon the world.

Link's deadpan look and not explaining anything to anyone bothered me too... until I figured out why. And it makes perfect sense. You see, in the LoZ universe, Link's the smartest person in Hyrule. Not because he's a genius, mind you, but because everyone else is dumb as nails. Like the so called "scientists" studying the Zonai gacha machines, "oh, I wonder how they work". Meanwhile there's a round receptacle in the middle and a bunch of round-shaped Zonite scattered around... Really? What have you TRIED? And I'm sure Link cared before. He tried, he really tried to show them, "look, there's a round hole here, and a round peg. How do you suppose this 'puzzle' is solved?", but it never worked. Now, after years, he's jaded. He comes up to a temple that "no one has been able to open in a thousand years" with a very simple solution, or a "sage" going "Wow, we saw someone who looked like Zelda in the past, but we also saw her in the present, acting all evil. What is this mystery?!", and he just goes: "..."

RT last video: I can't believe they're giving a stealth tutorial this far in the game RT now: It's a stealth shrine? That means I've gotta run in recklessly!

The power would be better if it was activated by a button prompt when pulling out the bow.

Hearing Rt say Gerudo CORRECTLY for the first time after hearing it like 13 times in a row and still saying it wrong was a weird experience and a moment of pure victory Edit: and then he Jerudo'd all over the place again

The game needs a super link shrine creator where you can make your own shrine puzzles and upload them.

I think swapping Teba for Tulin works, since it puts all the Sages in a similar position. Members of their respective species that are recently grown up, or just getting there. A theme of Youth. Also Tulin is the best birb so even if my reading isn't acceptable, he was still worth it.

Edit: note how they don't recognize that you're Link until Beliara tells them, so they don't even know you can defend yourself, they think you're just some guy.

I know it only works half the time (for me trying to call Yunobo, at least), but does RT know about whistling? One of the loading screens tells you that you can whistle and your companions will all stop fighting for a second to run to you.

i definitely agree that nintendo missed the mark by not having your companions come up situationally like tulin. if you draw a bow, there should be a prompt for riju, i dont wanna have to chase her down every 30 seconds in the middle of combat, especially with bosses like lynels or hinoxes

this game is truly the Fortnite of dark souls of Zelda games

anyone else reallly want a "koroks strike back" dlc where they all build a bunch of gizmos and vehicles and you have to build a mech and got take over camps/ defend from invaders
