NO! NO! NO! NO! This is about the St Valentine's Day Massacre, nothing to do with a raid on a Speak Easy! They were unfortunately in the garage when Al Capone sent his henchmen in to kill his rivals in the garage, based on a true to life situation. Supposedly these two characters were in the garage and had to be killed. The shoes are called spats and that's the name of George Raft's character. I can't believe how much you like it and don't have the real concept. I had my children watch this in their grade school years and they love it! And we'll look at each other sometimes (along with one of my brothers) and fill in a question of ANY kind and say I was with you at Rigoletto's! LOL!!! You've got to watch it again.
