Just painted my hall way,First tub of paint has done a really good job,It covered most of it up,Little bit patchy,Best ive seen since ive lived here in 5 years,Last lot of paint I done in my hallway was about 3 years ago,I brought 5 leters of paint,Only just about covered the walls,Then ran out,Left ever since to be very patchy,This 5 leter tub of paint done much better,The last paint was rubbish,Leave it to fully dry out for the next 24 hours then go over the walls again with the 2nd tub of paint,That give it a nice finish
Granted this guys method of painting is not the quickest, my question is why is he wearing a reflective vest indoors? Was he directing traffic or landing airplanes?
You have to wear it in UK and Ireland. Plus gloves, goggles, helmet, ear protection, safety boots and the crap paper face mask, which is good for nothing. That's the law and safety rules on building sites. Nobody else is working inside but you have to be visible to yourself as well.
Health and safety. If your working on a Skanska site. Its hard hat. hi viz. gloves. glasses and steel toes and whites. All inside work. New build offices.
Many Painters I worked for were insane. Quantity not quality. They wanted me to cut a room from top to bottom in less than 5 minutes. And closets? 30 seconds tops. One Painter who never paid overtime but only paid straight time, ripped me off in my paychecks to the point where the federal gov't paid me $875 from the painting company I was employed with come tax time. Another painter I worked with who was painting since the 1970's was trained how to paint "since he was a boy". Man was that dude full of himself and in the end impossible to work with. Another painting company had it where the owner handed down his business to his young punk kid who paid everybody less and eventually ran the company into the ground. These are just a few stories out of many from a whole bunch of painting companies. A lot of painting businesses I experienced don't want quality, they want quantity. Fast fast fast. Get it done fast. Go go go. Chop chop. That's stupid. Do you want it done fast or do you want it done right? They can go screw themselves. I like to enjoy what I'm doing. Not interested in splashing a 5 gallon bucket of paint onto a wall like some slob and then move onto the next room thanks. I'm my own boss now as a sub contractor and paint alone. I put in my own hours and the only boss I hear screaming is me. This is a sh*t trade when working for somebody else as most Painting companies pay garbage, work garbage, act like garbage and give this trade a bad name.
@@CARLIN4737 Who knows? According to most "painters" if he didn't cut and roll a living room, dining room and kitchen in 38 seconds flat then he should be fired. Right?
What the fuck ? Plenty of paint on that lid is there ? lol ! That bloke is not a painter surely Mark ? Must take him a week to cut the ceiling lines in !
Imagine buying that place ! The contaminated paint shown must be on all the walls and woodwork throughout the house ! Those guys are working in a pile of dust and rubble ! Makes me feel sick to see !
Why do painters cut in like that 😂. Start in a left corner and work right all the time. Cut in a few ft then brush out to leave no brush marks. Whats with all this left right right left 😂😂😂
To be fair, I struggled not to find fault. But yeah, easiest job in the world to rip someone else to bits. Standard painter behaviour though unfortunately.
You literally spend your days slagging other tradesmen off, why don't you just concentrate on doing your own work and just get on with it?? They can't help being useless but that doesn't mean u need to make a video about them
@@wallingtonfilming so slagging tradesmen off is how you have resulted in finding entertainment now to get views 😂 I'm all up for entertainment just you have gone of that topic mate 👍
@@krisrickson853 Slagging “Tradesmen” off.Are you for real. “Tradesmen”? I am a customer! You think I would want to pay for these t#££@&* to work on my property? So a poor customer comes along thinking he is going to get a professional. He then realises that he has been conned by a complete and utter Cowboy. A guy who can put paint on upside down! These guys need to be exposed any time anywhere.
Because the ceiling is definitely not 100% straight and using tape can make it even worse 🤷♂️ talking from experience. Straight cutting in is pretty much optical illusion
