Some Thoughts About Adaman 

I immediately made the connection of Beni actually being Cilan‘s ancestor, since Cilan‘s GerDub name literally is "Benny"

With the reveal of Adaman's cooking skills and the fact that the Diamond Settlement becomes Pastoria City in the future (or at least somewhere close to there), I couldn't help but think about that hotel area near Pastoria and just outside of Lake Valor in future Sinnoh. In that area, there's a very fancy restaurant that you can battle in, and there's a trainer couple who say their fathers are the owners and head cooks of the restaurant. It might be a stretch, but perhaps in the future Adaman passes down his cooking skills and his descendants open up the restaurant there?

OK, let's just admit one thing here: some of us find Adaman super attractive as hell! (Me included!)

fun fact, Beni is implied to be Wally's ancestor! the comment he makes about going somewhere "with a more agreeable climate" is meant to signify Hoenn!

I thought personally, Irida and Adaman were meant to both be ancestors of the Sinno protag, to be honest the only reason I thought that was, Irida s hair in the front looks some what like it and her eyes are blue... and adaman has blue hair. So my brain just kinda assumed that was what they were meant to represent.

There's other Ninja trainers we know of, but they really don't have anything connecting them to Adaman - the Shadow Triad. Would be pretty cool, though! As you said, they're probably just completely unique characters. Which is actually good! Thank you for the mention!

I've always thought that adaman and irida become Barry's ancestors since I see Barry's physical traits and personality in both of them. Like sprinkles of it.

To be honest, when I first played the game I thought Beni was Cilan's ancestor, given the whole cooking thing (this would, of course, make Beni an ancestor to ALL of the Striaton Triplets), but to be honest, you know the first character that came to mind when I first saw Beni go ninja on us? The Shadow Triad The white hair, the ninja techniques, my already-established-but-possibly-wrong-now theory of him connecting to Unova? There you go. And, to be honest, Beni very-well could be the ancestor to any or ALL of these people. I mean, people can have multiple descendants, so... food for thought.

I stand by Irida being May's ancestor.

I personally think that Adaman started what would eventually become the Shadow Triad, as they give off similar vibes.

When I saw the title, all I think of was that Talking Ben fellow saying *"Ben?"*, and that continued into every single appearence of Beni in the video.

Adaman is related to Perrin he is also related to the owner of the adamant crystal, the owner could be the founder who is an ancestor of Maxie.

Irida looks really close to Paulo which is the rival for Masters. Adaman is really intresting character though. He looks really unique. Like there's no character that looks like him.

my brother had a theory that adaman and Irida will get an descendent in gen 9 and that they were might have been teasing at gen 9

I'm honestly of the opinion that Arezu is closer related to Silver than Mars. I think their hair colors match more, and we never see Jupiter's ancestor to complete the Team Galactic trio (Unless the Abra girl and Jupiter are related). Maybe if we knew what Pokemon she likes but who knows.

I don't personally believe this theory (and by theory I mean claim I'm thinking of off the top of my head with no actual evidence), but Adaman and Irida might end up being the ancestors of some gen 9 characters, since both were probably being developed around the same time.

The one thing I never got was who Beni, uh, reproduced with. Now we don't know who any of the ancestors significant others are but I'm more looking at it through the age aspect. Beni's an old man looking to retire himself to the relaxing air of Verdanturf. He doesn't really seem like the type to "want to get jiggy with it" at least at this stage of his life.

Wait, doesn't Kamado come from Galar? He says that his armor is from Galar, and even though Dynamaxing seems to be a pretty modern thing, Pokemon in Galar are known to run around, sometimes causing trouble. I guess he might've somehow just gotten the armor from Galar and moved to Hisui, since Gyarados tearing up Johto is a known thing, but they're also in Galar. Man, Pokemon is weird. We should get some type of Hisuian animated series other than Hisuian Snow coming out next week.

Koga could just be wrong about his family history since stories being pasted down to the next generation can slowly change forgetting the actual truth.

Irida doesn’t make me think of any one specific character. But It is reminding me of a lot of female characters later on with the same face. So no names specifically but a lot of NPCS have that kinda look

I always thought Adaman and Irida seemed somewhat similar to Professor Sycamore and Serena from Kalos.. my best "evidence" is more on the Irida side with hair color and eye color.. with her being less experienced than Adaman at being a leader.. would fit since Sycamore is older than Serena and stuff.. also just she had the "pretty" eeveelutions compared to Adaman.. which kinda fits But also them being wholly unique helps PLA have something special for themselves.. at first I thought most of the random shop people in Jubilife Village also were unique until I noticed a guy looked like Charon and another Karen and others etc. which kind of sucked.. I wanted more to be unique without them being the generic townspeople models Also them being unique can just open up making later characters look like them to add "depth" to the lore of Hisui.. since.. that would then mean those two left Hisui.. or their descendants did at least.. and if we follow some logic that Pokemon would follow, somehow we'll face those two's descendants as villain team leaders or something XD

I don't know why, but Adaman reminds me of Professor Sycamore and Irida of anime Serena. Adaman's hair are styled similarly to Sycamore's with just a ponytail added and Irida is too similar to Serena.

You know what, I'm taking the bet that Adaman and Irida are obvious ancestors for some unrevealed important characters in Scarlet and Violet. Come to think of it, if there are ancestor characters from other regions including Galar, why wouldn't Gamefreak sneak one or two from the newest game? Obviously these two games were developed at the same time, so it's totally something they will do.

Adaman is nessa’s ancestor. I know they aren’t the same skin tone but things can change down the family tree. Besides that nessa has some same physical features as adaman and their color scheme are very similar as well. Very similar eyes and they both have that split in their hair in the same spot.

I think Irida is pretty obviously May’s ancestor. Similar color palates, red bow like headpieces, white shorts, red black tank tops, two long poofs of hair in the front, the rest tied back. Also May in the anime had a glaceon, just like irida :p

I think Irida’s offspring may appear in Gen 9, she has the hopes of exploration, perhaps she will leave Sinnoh and travel the world and eventually go to Spain. Who knows?

We know who Adamans's decendent is now! Its Perrin who will be in the scarlet and violet dlc.

One year later and I’m still spreading the theory that Adaman’s family and Irida’s family joined together at some point and created Barry’s family. I mean, just look at him and don’t tell me that Barry KIND OF looks like he could be descended from them!! And his mannerisms, too.

Theory I heard and actually beleive in is that both Adaman and Irida are the ancetors of Barry, your rival in Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. Barry is impatient and hyperactive, much like how Adaman is punctual and focused on time. Barry also goes through a character arc, trying to find his self worth, similar to Irida's journey, which we see in the Cobalt Coastlands. It would lso be fitting since Barry helped the player against Team Galactic and tried to protect Uxie, and later battled against Mars and Juniper as your partner. Meanwhile, both Adaman and Irida can be chosen to fill a similar role, essentially being the one to escort the player to the lakes. Finally, genetics wise, Barry has Irida's hair color and Adaman's eye color. I doubt it's true but Barry and Palmer being Adaman and Irida's descendants does make some sense.
