Someone Stole Our Bird Bath and Gargoyle!!!

This just proves people will steal anything not nailed down. On 5/25/31 at 9:07pm someone pulled up in front of our house and stole a gargoyle statue and a cement birdbath basin from our front yard. The birdbath was a mother's day gift to my wife over 15 years ago. Hoping one of our local Facebook or RU-vid followers will spot the items or knows who did it and will help us get them back. I would be willing to 3d print and detail a realistic skull for anyone (other than the thief himself) who can help us get our property back. A photo of the bird bath and gargoyle have been posted to our facebook page.

Some people are so down right selfish. I understand how it feels to get a beloved prop or yard feature stolen. Years ago, I had a rare blow mold Alien taken from my yard haunt. It crushed me. My dad(who was a huge Xmas creator), learned from all his years, to rig alarms to our favorite props. It has deterred at least 3 attempts. It stinks how we have to go to those lengths. 😢

Obviously someone who knew what they were stealing. My guess is that person (and possibly that car) has been there before. Sorry to see this. It takes some of the fun out of making and displaying.

That is insane! Sadly they've probably been by your house a few times casing it out to make it so brazen like that. Hopefully the police can find this ahole and set this right.

We are experiencing the same problems with stealing wreaths off the door to porch pirates taking packages in broad daylight. Post to your community, we have found it has been food delivery people committing the thefts here. Working together, we have identified several by getting footage of them making a delivery first, before they put on sunglasses and goodies and masks. Good luck.

I know the location of the items and will get them returned unharmed, but I want the 3D printout to be of MY skull, not just some random one.

@@OakLaneCemetery Dang it! Thwarted! I hope you get your stuff back. Thanks for the info and good videos. I really have always wanted to hold a copy of my skull in my hands. It's not self-absorption so much as I am a hopeless osteophile, also I have spurs and depressions that are becoming more pronounced as I age, and I would just be so curious to see them in 3D.

I've always said that when my time comes I want to have my skull preserved, the rest cremated and then use my skull as an urn for my ashes. Maybe add some animatronic eyes that follow people that walk by. Guess maybe just a 3d printed copy made from a scan of my skull would be ok too though.

@@OakLaneCemetery I love the final wishes idea .... but what entity offers head de-fleshing services? Carrion beetles could do quick and nice work of it; they're what museums and bone specimen suppliers use. But I kinda doubt any place like that would be willing to do it for an individual, and even if they would, I bet local government would see fit to stick their nose in. People had so many more and personal options in the past. Are you familiar with Ask A Mortician? If not, check her out -you are in for a TREAT.
