Something Feels VERY Different Here... 

Ryu you could've just done Yoshi section twice on my level, originally had it as 1 big level then changed to just pick 2 paths didn't matter of they were the same. GG for beating my crappy level

Oh hi. It's unfortunate to get this in 100 mario, but this was the first of 4 practice levels I made for the full level (The Tenth Base). The first section was a trial to just get the cape. The second section was a tricky flight section with a race against falling flowers and getting flight off a P-switch. The third section was a yoshi flight section and the final section was a difficult flight string. People commented on my full level video, so now I'm here lol.

I also thought Toasty's Pick 2 was just the 2nd level in a series of Toasty's Pick levels. It meaning 'pick 2 challenges' was definitely a plot twist, at least for me.

Ryu, please consider stockpiling Mario Maker 1 videos so we can have content after the servers are shut down.

Also, for those curious. Kyros (Zin) is a cape player, his " Base" is a part of the 'Perfect Run' series, this is just a small section of the level, the whole level is on his YT (7 years ago!) as "Mario Maker - The Tenth Base (Challenge Series)"

That last level is absolutely nuts.

Toastys pick was actually incredible. The contraption to force a second play was so amazing to see. Also the plot twist of the 2 in the title. Never felt so moved by a MM level.

Toasty's Pick 2 opened my eyes to some interesting ideas for level creating.

Not realising the muncher pow timer in the last level for so many lives was unfortunate. It wouldn’t have mattered much anyways given the crap the rest of the level was though

I’d love if you did a video on beating an uncleared level to help team zero percent. All the remaining levels would be tough enough to warrant an entire video.

That toasty level was phenomenal. One of the best designed levels I've ever seen, 4x! And ryu... if you didn't like spawning at the one checkpoint, couldn't you have just gone back and snagged the other checkpoint just to the right? 15:00

Couldn't you have just replayed the Yoshi section after the CP? The key would have been reset.

I think if you didn't go in the CP door, you could finish the level because you had a mushroom. You could do just one path

One of the things that most surprises me here is that, all these years later, he still finds so many levels to do.😊 Sure, if i was a hyperfan, who scoured every frame of each episode, maybe I'd recognize revisits to levels done before, but it honestly seems like there are still so many, and specifically levels just of the difficulty range he picks; "easy levels don't pad this out, and this is a game that hasn't had a single new level added in quite some time. Goes to show a LOT of people made a lot of levels, and this is still so much fun to watch!

After watching many videos in this series, I am convinced Japan has been preparing for war. All factories are producing their weapon of choice . . . super expert levels. The Nation of Ryu has phenomenal resolve, but will eventually be overtaken by the mighty Japanese and their endless production capabilities.

timestamp 14:18 I don’t think Ryukahr realized it, but this level has a massive oversight (possible the level creator did it on purpose, but I hope he or she didn’t). You’re 100% better off not getting CP2 and going up the bridges instead. When you complete one of the challenges from those pipes, you get a mushroom and a key. Getting CP2 or respawning at CP2 forces you to do one of those challenges just for a mushroom and a key. That is bad level design.

I prefer watching the Mario Maker 1 vids rather than the sequel. Although I appreciate the work and content that went into the sequel, there’s too much going on for me 😅
