Personally, I think these types of videos, when things don't go to plan and one has to figure out why, are much better than those where things work out perfectly. You learn some things to watch out for, why you should watch out for them, how to trouble shoot, and remedy things. It's one thing to do things, quite another to understand WHY it's done that way.

I feel better about when I explain things now. Straight to the point. I thought at some point she was going to say something like ‘back in ‘82 there was a bird that got in and knocked the fuse board. The fan didn’t work the same since’ no wonder you left confused.

Well done Delroy, looking at that installation reminds me of everything I hated about domestic installations of a certain.age, especially knowing some handyman or DIY merchant had had a go at adding circuits or unconventional wiring, great Vids keep them.coming

Hi Delroy. If i was a sparky i would ask if they hung any pictures about the place lately, loose rubbing floor boards and anyone gone in attic etc. Just thinking about possible causes. Good videos.

That light has never worked in the bathroom 🤣 husband had changed the fitting got all his switch wires and neutrals mixed up and then called you out and pretended like they don't know what's happened....jobs would be much easier if they told the truth. Good vid though pal 😉

In my line of work, this is most people over60 and a fair few under that age. They have absolutely no idea what they're wittering on about & don't listen to a word I'm saying. Often I know exactly what the issue is but can't get a word in edgeways. In about 20 years I'll be that age & can get my revenge on the next generation 😅
