- I recall an in progress hack that compared the elements of each to create a new thing. The emeralds are now stars, the mechanics for fighting the "Green Hill" boss are modified to be unique, and there are two routes in each act - the Mario route and the Sonic route. The warp ring to get to the emeralds only appear in the Sonic route. And Bowser replaces Eggman. - ADDON - Motobugs are Goombas, Buzzbombers are Bullet Bills, the moniters look like ? blocks, the meleons and newtrons are modded into piranha plants, and Crabmeats are turner into Koopa Troopas. That game and this concept (from this movie) should be recombined...

actually egg man and sonic have teamed up many times in many games and even the shows. they have a bit of a friendship and a rivalry kind of thing going on. basically kintobor was sonics best friend and an acccident turns him evil and makes him robotnik. because of this sonic still trys to protect him sometimes and he stops others from attacking sonic as well. he wants to defeat him at least once his self but never really has. its kinda like the friendship of goku and vegeta
