Sonic Forces Post Release Reactions | ITEM BOX 

I really liked Sonic Forces. It has its flaws but nothing that I wasn't expecting. The only real change to the game i'd want to make is have both Sonics jump slightly higher and have a bit more hang time in mid air.

I love forces, It's my 5th favorite sonic game, which really surprise me, i've watch the spoiler of the game, and the one thing that disappoint me the most was how short the stage were, i found myself saying "Was that it?" a lot. but i got the game and I played it for all it was worth and I enjoy, well Avatar and Modern anyway, Classic Sonic doesn't appeal to me anymore, the replay valve with SOS mission, leveling up your Avatar, and time trial made up for how short the stages were.

Great opinions I think sonic will never be perfect but we should appreciate the things some Sonic games have in stored

Reception from Mania ruined any chances this game ever had at being anything. Sure this is Sonic standard but if Sonic Team lets a bunch of fans outdo them then how are people are suppose to feel?

Why did they put half a billion pounds in advertising when that could have been put in the fucking game?!

You know what they say - the person yelling the loudest is usually on the bottom of the pile. Either that or "it's the worst wheel of the wagon that makes the most noise." I'm still debating which games I'll get for Christmas. Cuphead and Sonic Mania will likely be the top priorities for me but I'll think about Forces too. My friendgirl likes it but if I tried to ask the community I would only get even more confused. Eh, I'll think about it once I actually have money to spend again. Living with rye bread, pasta and meatballs gets old pretty fast.

Not saying your lying, but could you give me a link to the source that says Forces sold better than Mania. Because I'm honestly curious to see that.

You guy's kinda nailed my thoughts about the reaction to this game in the first 5 minutes. Literally the only two things that anyone can agree on is that it's playable and it's a disappointment. Once you get past that it's just random opinions from people or groups of people. Some love it, some hate and then there's everything in between...

I actually wrote about a 5 page long email detailing my analysis of Sonic Forces after 30+ hours of gameplay. It has not been sent to anyone. It definitely is flawed, but it underlines each perspective of the game's core features, such as the story direction, level progression, and the player's freedoms within level confinements. I know this is an overly complex comment on RU-vid, and I am not the guru of Sonic, but if anyone is interested in reading it, let me know. I am happily welcome to other ideas :)

Basically, Sonic Forces is just plain disappointing.

Silver has a reason to be here actually... Rivals retconned 06(yes, it's canon) He came back to stop Eggman Nega, thus giving them the ability to bring him back. He can work because he comes back from the future to prevent everything going bad.

Mario is boring. The games are really slower-paced, the protagonist has no personality and there's no passion since it is clearly a company piece. A game made by Nintendo to suit their image...while Sonic as a character has some personality and is accompanied by at least a less boring game and great musicians and talented people behind the game.

I feel like Forces is the worst received 3D Sonic game that isn't glitchy as fuck.

Sonic fans are really pathetic, the sonic cycle still happening and im here happily enjoying Ratchet & Clank xD.
