Sonic Frontiers Platinum Trophy Was A WILD RUSH!

I got the platinum trophy on Sonic Frontiers (for the second time) and honestly, this is a fun one to do. A bit lacking in challenge but its entertaining as hell.
Stick around to the end for teases of not 1, not 2 but 3 upcoming videos!
I'm going to 100% every Sonic game and start doing more Sonic challenge videos on this channel; this means every platinum trophy on PS5, and then looking at Xbox and Steam Achievements in due time.

Wish there was a achievement called "sonic unleashed" that you would get for turning into super sonic for the first time in frontiers, would've been so fitting.

Considering frontiers kinda retcon's unleashed's canon origin for the chaos emeralds, it's probably best if they mention past games as little as possible.

@@thelanktheist2626ngl I like the references to past games since it feels like we have continuity for the first time in a while, and it validates/reconfirms that the past games actually did happen, though I think dialing back on references is what’s going to happen in the future

This was a really enjoyable Platinum, but I wish they did an additionnal trophy pack for the Final Horizon story, there could've been so much opportunities...

Nice job man! Sonic Frontiers is probably my favorite Sonic game. It’s also a refreshingly easy platinum. No grinding to 100k rings, no redoing the same hotdog mission over and over, no blue sphere hell. Just play the levels, enjoy the story, and upgrade Sonic to the max. Nice and simple. Very fun platinum

Thats it! Its super fun, just play, enjoy yourself and do the stuff that makes sense. I do love when a platinum requires you to do specific little challenges (not get hit by cars in Crisis City, no touching water in Chemical Plant, find secret special stage in Mirage Saloon etc) but it doesn't feel like its missing out on anything by not having them

Thanks for making this video! Sonic Frontiers certainly has a lot of content to go through! Also, I'm glad to hear that you plan on making a sequel video to this that focsues on getting 100% for the game. Just to remind you though, there are some easily missable content in the fishing areas in the form of Egg Memos. They are not tied to any specific challenge; and if you are just focused on getting yourself upgraded, buying them can easily slip your mind.

Fun fact: 1-7 is always open for some reason, it’s the only portal that doesn’t need to be repaired (excluding 1-1)

Great video! Im going for platinum in puyopuyo tetris 2 at the moment. Really fun and not too tough. Theres like 3 online trophies that wont take but 15 or so. Let me know if you want to hop on and do them? Cheers!!

What I don't like about chaos island is the cyloop "caches". In the previous island 9/10 of them were memory tokens. In Chaos and Ouranos they decided to flip it and make it so only 1/10 is tokens and 9/10 are springs and dash pads.

Yeah, I was hoping for additional trophies (like Ep Shadow in Forces). Its more about the experience than it is the trophies though.

Its easy to beat but its a horribly designed level that should have stayed in the drafts. I'd have rather had a remake of something good.

Yeah, this was my third PS5 platinum (first was GOW Ragnarok, second was Destroy All Humans 2), really fun game, pretty easy platinum as well.

I dont know how everything is now, but the platinum was extremely easy the first time around. You didnt have to go out of your way too much and by the end of the story i just forgot to beat one of the mini bosses.

Its definitely one of the easiest platinums I've obtained. Easier now because there isnt that horrendous grind for the speed/ring levels. I did have a heap of fun with it despite the ease. I;m looking forward to getting back in for the 100% as well

The trophy is specifically for the OG ending, the Final Horizon doesn't do anything towards trophies.
