Sonic 2: Hardest boss in the game, almost impossible to hit without precession timing. Sonic Generations: Has been toned down a lot. Takes only 4 hits to beat. But at least it looks cooler.
The only thing in generations that makes those boss hard is that this game just has me slide off the arm if I don’t jump on the right damn pixel on the bomb phase
ive heard people say its the first boss, so it has to be easy. and while thats true, the last time we had a boss fight that was consistantly hard in this series was the Death Egg Robot in Sonic 2. everything else might have been hard when i was younger, but theyre all a cake walk now. still struggle against Sonic 2 DER even today. also theres a hard version of this boss. and it only goes from 4 hits to like 6. not much harder
@@Amosus2That's not the issue, it's that you basically had to risk your.own life 12 times because his chest was his weak point, which was riiiight barely above the arms of spikes. An accidentally clip and gg game over. Everything else is okay to dodge
Rule of cool. It's probably part of why they redesigned Perfect Chaos to have the weird blue scaly covering, though that also brings closer to the design seen in some runes in Sonic Adventure.
why is the robot this huge at all? I mean if you're going to try and catch a blue hedgehog that can move at the speed of sound and Light a 40ft tall robot isnt the way to do it.

One takes 4 hits, has predictable pattern and it's supposed to be a reimagination of the OG, a tribute, but doesn't hold up to what it's trying to achieve The other one is a normal boss that tries to show how much capable Eggman is with the Phantom Ruby's power of course now one bats an eye, you just lack the common sense to see why one works and the other is just meh
Please don't hate me for bringing up the Sonic Movie.... I hope there's a Jim Carrey-fied version of the Death Egg Robot 😂. Imagine a transformer like robot but with Jim Carrey's face on it 😂😂😂.
Personally i think it was fair to have rings, but not that the boss needed just 4 hits. If they made it without rings and 4 hits it would have been better.
When he jumps to turn around after you hit him, you can run under him again right and just continue the process right? Hit him he falls. He gets up facing the wrong way He jumps 180 degrees to face you During that time you can run under him again if you time it right You can hit him again Is that possible?

Старое яйцо смерти : Тупой, очень медленный, точен и не попадёт только если не дотянется, раза в 3 выше Соника, не очень эпичный но адренали получаешь много, требует 12 точных ударов без права на ошибку.
man its been 10 years after the last time i deafeated the d.e.r and i have absalut nightmare back in the day with no rings.and i tried until 1k attempts and i won
Why does every boss nowadays that isn't in dark souls or some shooter die in 3-6 hits? Like come on that's too quick at least make it 8 hits like yeah 3-6 may be a lot for a kid but gamers are a lot more adept at gaming so if you're gonna make them die in 4-6 hits make them a little more difficult like this fight should have lasted maybe 5-6 minutes instead of 2 lol
