For me, this is THE final boss battle in the sonic series, i love the setting; Sonic standing on the remains of a destroyed city, with a huge, invincible monster that has been evolving throughout the story, the cheers of the surviving citizens, that post apocalyptic feeling... I wouldve loved it if you could actually hear the cheers of the people, and if you got hurt, they would start screaming or something, that would have made this battle even better for me.
It's a mod that allows you to transform into super sonic withouth having to gather 50 rings, and allows you to stay transformed without the ring count decreasing on it's own.
Sonic Adventure: Even the mighty Egg Carrier was taken down so easily. We definitely need the power of the 7 Chaos Emeralds before this behemoth destroys the rest of the world. Sonic Generations: Emeralds? Nah, we only got, like, 2 right now, but I'm sure I can take him! 3 minutes tops! Perfect Chaos was really downplayed in this game, especially when considering the Time Eater doesn't seem all that menacing in comparison.
***** I do you know that Dreamcast Sonic was planned to be in the game? Sega wanted Ryan Drummond to voice him, but they wanted him to quit his union and they weren't gonna pay as well as it would have. Drummond declined and Dreamcast Sonic was dropped. My point is I bet you they just popped Dreamcast Sonic out and replaced him with Modern Sonic
That...was so much more epic than the original, even though it was a bit shorter. The fact that the music doesn't change to boring grim ominous boss music halfway through the fight helps quite a bit.
I have a theory for those of you who hate Perfect Chaos' new appearance. The blue 'armor' is actually Chaos itself, while the watery part is the water that Chaos is controlling. If any of you have already thought of this, then my bad.
You know what else was evil? Creating Godzilla as a metaphor for the atom bomb, then turning him into a hero in later movies. Japan makes all manner of monster movies personifying natural disasters and atomic horror, defying all conventions of good taste. And I'M horrible for making one little crack about it being in a state of Chaos? Okay, make that two cracks.
remember, every time the boost button is pressed, that shockwave that goes across the screen is a Sonic Boom, IE: each time you boost Sonic breaks the sound barrier. it has to hurt having the sound barrier broken inside your body multiple times like Chaos is feeling
Well the entire Immortality Research Project was probably based around Gerald's findings of the Ancient Echidnas which would explain why Shadow looks like Super Sonic.
That's not bad, but this really just seems to be a faithful recreation of how he looks in the Sonic Adventure opening FMV, as he had scales in that too. And the Lost World mural, although that might just be 'cause it's a mural. This is basically how I imagined the battle all along. They could have made the scales more transparent here though, but it's possibly how they mask the new inner glowing. Either way possibly my favorite part of the game.
What I love about sonic adventure is that, when you remember playing the game as a child and you are all: "this is a awesome" "And then you go back and realize how atrocious that game is...."
+Geofff Hall Honestly i agree with you on the fact of Sonic Adventure being awesome and yes while there may be some negatives to this game, like Big's story mode and maybe the treasure hunting stages for knuckles, i honestly had NO issues with Sonic Adventure what-so-ever. in fact i feel that exact same way with ALL the sonic games that i have seen on youtube. Now i know some people are going to be like 'Are you saying that you like Sonic 06?' and no i don't like Sonic 06 at all, at least when it comes to dealing with all the glitches and what have you in the game itself. But the only reason why i would say that i LIKE Sonic 06 is because of the music - that is it. Long story short, all Sonic games have a positive and negative side to many things, depending on what they are, and yes we all have our reasons for loving or hating something if anything for that matter.
I don't think it's not a mod, though. Because most mods don't have Super Sonic's aura effect and flying pose. Along with the really fast tricks on the ramp. Same as his orange ring animation, line of blur behind him, and the ending animation. If this is a mod, he put A LOT of work into it.
This is a hack for the PC version of Sonic Generations. The actual game doesn't let you use custom skills during Battles. Only during Main stages. Although there was some guy who told me he had the X-Box 360 version unpatched and could use this gltich anytime he wanted.
(Funny you point that out, because, in 'Sonic The Hedgehog 2', you can actually use Super Sonic in Emerald Hill Zone when you're playing for the first time) I know, but unfortunately, 'Sonic Generations' doesn't let the player use any custom skills in battles (including Super Sonic). That's why some players (like the one in this video) had to resort hacking the system. There's a user who told me that he can use skills in Boss Battles in the XBOX 360 version of this game, but I don't believe.
I know, it's just that it takes away the fun. And even though Perfect Chaos is my favorite Boss in the game, I can't deny the fact his battle is a little risky, because Sonic can fall into bottomless water. That's why (in order to collect more points), I fight against Shadow.
@vulcanblast1 The thing about the Chaos Emeralds in only half-true. Even if you collect all of those, you can't use Super Sonic against other Bosses in 'Sonic Generations', except Time Eater. I'm guessing SEGA thought the game would be too easy to exploit if Super Sonic was playable in every part of the game (then again, they already did that in the past). Besides, Sonic was carrying a few Chaos Emeralds with him at this point. It's not enough for the transformation, but it gives him power.
@Chaotix010 you and edward are both right however in the story, you never retrieve the chaos emeralds until time eater. Though I guess they should have let you use it afterwards.
I did that already. Ever single Sonic file from Sonic ar 00-01 moved to the bpc and bsd and the game crashed. AyrFionalei must be really smart at this. PS - Someone found a way to unrestrict Classic Super Sonic's speed, by making code into the memory. Maybe that's how Super Sonic can be playable.
