Sonic Origins Plus, DON'T BOTHER 

I was going to say that.... a lot of the 'bugs and glitches' were in the original releases way back in the 90's. It seems pretty petulant to whine about it tbh.

That's not the bug they're talking about ._. they're talking about how the water turn pure white like milk when you touch it with the shield, not that you lose the shield.

I bought Plus for the physical release, as Origins received the Mania treatment (if you recall, Mania only released digitally at launch, but then when Plus came out a year later, it got a physical release)

@@ThatsRoyo I just tested both Sonic 3 and Sonic 3 and Knuckles. The flash envelops the whole water in both games- it's working as it originally did.

​@@pvzmariosonica8fan That glitch is still in the game! It happens if you manage to time it right and try to do a bounce right as you go into the water. The game realizes you're in the water and starts to remove the sheild, but there's a small window where you can still use the sheild ability. If you use the bounce during that window, I guess it interrupts the code to remove the sheild. The sheild is still removed, but it never finishes the flashing animation, so the water is pure white until the level is unloaded. There's some kind of glitch that has the same effect in Launch Base Act 2, but I don't know why it happens. It still has the effect of making the water white until it's unloaded, though.

chaotix is decently fun, people overblow the ring mechanic too much lmao, not to mention chaotix never got a port so it would be totally worthy getting the dlc for it, 3d blast is also not really that bad, honestly i played the games several times and i still don't get why people hate on it, i do prefer the DX director's cut though i will admit on it.

@@michaelfalcone7110 That's ACTUALLY from the game itself since the update that added the Sonic 3 cheats that pretty much came from Mania, I know that because I saw that crashing issue on actual unmodded consoles, meaning that I couldn't use mods, and on PC I even disabled all mods I had and it happened in the same way as the console versions, the one from Sonic 1 I haven't checked if the crashing issue is still there, but I can confirm the Sonic 3 crashing issue still happening.

I'd be curious how you supposedly remove the "&Knuckles" branding without mods, as you seem to be implying. I've searched high and low and found no cheat code for doing this. I definitely want to enable that if it exists.

@@curtthegamer934 Play the following songs in that order in Sonic 3's Sound Test: 01, 09, 09, 04, 00, 02, 00, 02. If you exit to the title screen, you'll see it just says Sonic 3 like the original standalone game, same with the Act cards, with this enabled just enter the slot machine bonus stage and you'll get the crashing issue.

After the recent update, what do you think about Sonic 3 now?

As someone who played it on release day with zero outside opinions, I still hated it. CD has terrible audio mixing on all fronts, and Sonic 3's physics are absolutely janked because of the lack of speed cap. Also can't play in 16:9 unless you play it in the super easy baby mode where you have infinite lives (which is silly, that should be an option). The PC ports that fans have made of these games are infinitely better and are the definitive versions. Sonic 1 Forever, Sonic 2 Absolute, Sonic 3 AIR, and Sonic CD from Steam.

god ikr origins is fun, and i had fun but of course the original channel isn't hearting or anything cuz you disagree with him😭 im so tired of people recommending sonic 3 air, sonic 1 forever and sonic 2 absolute nobody has to or wants to or even CAN play these games origins is a perfectly fine release for those who want to play these games

We don't do that here 😅 like Disney plus going up $30 we will overcharge you and get political with "inclusiveness" with a 🏳️‍🌈 profile logo over fix broken stuff. You can't even choose Amy With anyone and have to scroll through a queue. Though at least with Sega, wait for a sale with this. Between best buy (switch membership) and target doing Bogo for new stuff, I can find this eligible if I find another $40-$50 to get free. Shame about the physical having codes for the dlc, and this not being standalone for game gear if you don't want to buy origins.

@pauleckert4321 you can't be serious. That 50th compilation doesn't let you view videos as a whole movie nor choose favorite games. I'm good with deluxe edition that gives art and sound (megaman zero/zx at like $10 with save assist is a godsend), or nice trinkets in collectibles like art of rally. Ninja jajamaru has great quality of life as well as the ff pixel remasters on console and those have art/sound. So you just don't want to compare things, let alone upcoming mgs collection that has metal gear solid digital comics and movies. If you wanna compare to Sega, sure, but everyone else you'll find something better. Psikyo bravo had a cool physical as well.

When you walk into a musuem do you watch all the interviews or videos at once? They wanted people to explore like you would a musuem. Having the lazy option of all the videos to be played at once would defeat the whole design and vibe of what Atari was going for. They killed it like others have said is now the gold standard. So yah I am serious and putting something up as lazy as clikcing one button to watch all of the videos would kill any exploration of the game.

@pauleckert4321 you're making excuses for an outdated organization as I have to check as slow as a VCR if I want to revisit and don't remember a timeline (or exact name of 100+ games) for a year for those 50 years of searching, suit yourself. Get married to atari 50. You sound obsessed, especially as how you neglect so many mediocre, derivative games had to be chosen over licensed stuff like donkey kong, space invaders, Pac-man, gauntlet and pitfall. It is very important to be transparent about this, as opposed to be a hype man. There's tons of good collections that have stuff way better organized. I liked the favorites and room setup for Sega genesis collection. The books for konami's castlevania and contra collection games are worth the price of purchase alone. Even the arcade one where they generically name it as such over konami's shoot 'em up collection. I am glad you can rewind in castlevania advance collection. I also liked how organized streets of rage 4 was with all the add-ons of classic characters, and a later physical that included the dlc, with previous having a Keychain and art. People similarly hype the bare bones tmnt shredder's revenge that the dlc will take forever and they don't even let you change difficulty without erasing your story mode, even after beating the game as streets of rage lets you do difficulty by levels select. Even with zero/zx, the physical had all the games and didn't do something stupid like download codes with sonic origins plus or previous switch megaman/x legacy. Neo geo pocket color volumes and tmnt cowabunga collections include digital manuals and boxes as well. I don't even mind the obscure stuff like igs' collection of beat em ups or capcom arcade 2nd stadium, which at least let me buy Saturday night slam masters separately given fighting collection had some of the same stuff but online (and physical, especially dark stalkers and pocket fighter).

Someone needs to make a mod where *all* characters play like their Advance counterparts, with the attack animations, spring tricks, and Tag Actions all intact. I'd mod my Switch for that alone

And also, the broken state of Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis for the GBA would be nothing compared to this applesauce.

@@blueberrimuffin6682 I know this very well however it's mostly not even owning any of the original game gear games at all and owning origins on my Xbox hence not being able to pull the roms or having great trouble with it that sorta prevents me from doing so.

It's literally just a better instashield, and a fixed speed dropdash that can change directions, her moveset on superstars is thousand of times more exciting.
