@@bluewind3170 3 years later, and in Sonic Shadow Generations, he looks fantastic in his fighting cutscenes, no its not a marza animation, its real, sega finally realized their mistakes.
A lot of sonic games from this area have insane pre-rendered cutscenes. Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic 06, Riders, Secret Rings, Black Knight, Riders Zero Gravity
I feel like the OST is the strong point but Shadow easily had the best gameplay. Finally getting to use all of his Chaos powers in normal gameplay was fantastic.
- the OST is amazing, one of my favorites in the series - most characters stayed true to their Adventure era portrayals (this game has the best Shadow, Eggman is almost as threatening as he was in SA2, Sonic stays pretty consistent and Silver does his job as the new character) - levels are actually pretty fun (and P-06 shows this) - Mephiles is arguably one of the greatest villains in the series - gorgeous CGI cutscenes What *really* killed this game was: - plot holes and the unnecessary romance (the script definetely needed another draft) - characters were good conceptually but the devs didn't have time to make them fun to play - glitches - subpar voice acting and godawful cutscenes Sonic 06 isn't an unsalvageable mess, it's just not finished
I shouldn't of been DLC in sonic forces...my episode should've been unlocked by maybe getting all red star rings, or getting an S rank in all stages. That eould of been better than spending all their lives just making DLC for an okay game.
Actually he’s probably the most important character in the story besides silver. Sonic literally does nothing except save Elise in this plot. He has no connection to Iblis, Mephiles nothing. He’s absolutely useless in this game
Ezio: "I will blend in the crowd to get to my target undetected." Sam Fisher: "I will use darkness and technology as a cover to infiltrate any facility." Shadow: "I will charge at full speed at the main entrance in full view, said entrance being guarded by a small army, and will subsequently destroy the whole army all by myself." I think Shadow purposefully throws stealth out the window for the sake of badassery (no complaints, it works) XD
0:20 Okay, I can't be the ONLY person who thinks this scene is like something out of Metal Gear Solid, and Shadow's voice when saying "Initiating the mission now." sounds like Snake, which to me, is freaking awesome. All thats left is to give him a game over scene with the agent screaming Shadow in panic. XD
Cinematic scenes like this are just too groundbreaking to be in any Sonic game, in my opinion: This could've been our Theatrical Version of Sonic The Hedgehog, look at Happy Feet, Astro Boy & TMNT (2007)
@@WickedBowserJr Nothing, the issue is CGI cutscenes like 06 are more polished than what we usually get with the films I described upon release date. While Pixar and DreamWorks revolutionized the medium with their textures, this game looked way ahead of it's time with stunning Visuals.
The game was bad as hell.... But This was just plain BADASS.... But that's Shadow everything he does is BADASS!!!!.... And the CGI style of his is Crazy dope!!
so shadow would have made sense to use guns in this game considering hes working for the military he technically does as his vehicles have them attached.
I love this cutscene but i always wonder why does he hide from the lights if he just destroy hundreds of robots and if they wen on its because they all ready now he's their
Compared to SA2 ans Sonic Heroes, this Shadow lost all his vitality, it might be the tone of the game though, everybody is more serious, not only Shadow. But the loneliness and melancholy are spot on. He has a reason to be always sad, even without bringing Maria back. Above all, he was still not a edgelord yet.
Shadow with all seven chaos emeralds beats goku`s master ultrainstinct, he can control time and space, total invulnerability except when he is damaged for multiversal entity's like Solaris and more. Is overpowered
