Today on pReview'd, Jay and Adam react to the Sonic the hedgehog new official trailer reaction, then review it, and at the end Jay gives it his special rating. During the sonic the hedgehog new official trailer review they also talk about the redesign. Also in this sonic the hedgehog trailer 1 reaction, i.e. the sonic the hedgehog trailer 1 review, or as it's known on the streets, the sonic new official trailer reaction, Adam throws a party. A lot. But it wouldn't be a sonic new official trailer review if Jay didn't throw shade. But that's not all, this sonic the hedgehog trailer 2 reaction also comes with a sonic the hedgehog trailer 2 review. This movie oozed the 90s, from silly Jim Carrey, the music, the buddy cop feel and of course, the original Sonic. A+++ ... all of us that complained now MUST see it or we are just plain hypocrites heh ...

No, this movie still looks like shit, the plot looks like every run of the mill buddy road trip adventure film, I said thi movie looked like shit in the first trailer, and I still think it looks like shit now, but at least they changed the design so they props for that

I wanted to see this movie even if it was crap, but now, I need to see it, for the fact the animators worked so hard to remake that model for the whole movie. Major props to that team!

Improvements in this trailer: 1. Music choice, not Gangster Paradise. 2. What Sonic does, like playing games, reading Flash comics, going to see the world's biggest rubberband ball just because. 3. Dr. Robotnic being silly instead of degrading. 4. James Marsden interactions and reactions. Notice that none of these have anything to do with how Sonic looks. It wasnt the design of the character that bothered me as much as the way the story was presented. Yeah, Sonic does look better, but if you still had the blue abomination in this trailer, I still think it would be 10x better than the previous one.

This is a REAL reaction! Most others the people talk over all the good parts and miss certain things stated. One guy talked over the part where Jim Carrey introduced himself as Dr Robotnik and after the trailer he was shocked that he missed that part. This is a good reaction because you guys just watch the trailer from beginning to end and listen to everything so you don’t miss a thing. Kudos! 👍👍👍👍

Knowing that sonic movie 2 is way behind us now and then coming back to this reaction. Hearing Adam simply say "we did it" is both satisfying and emotional. your right Adam we truly made sonic better I'll forever love the two movies

I was just in a lengthy comment debate since yesterday over this exact issue. I half jokingly said this must be some conspiracy to drum up fan support, to make Paramount look like it was listening to the fans. Some other guy told me that'd be a waste of money

Yeah, there's no way this happened. Like, at all. People don't seem to get how much goes into modelling a character for a movie. The idea that they just stitched together a horrible cut of the movie on purpose (like you can just whip this up or something; it isn't like modelling CG characters into live action takes a _ludicrously huge_ amount of discussion, time, money, effort, and attention to detail) is ridiculous enough, but to then say that the higher-ups at the studio would've ok-ed the release of an intentionally bad troll trailer, blows this theory to pieces. I can't believe there are people who are actually ignorant enough to what goes into making blockbusters movies that they can genuinely toss this theory around as remotely credible. It'd be more likely that that the earth is flat, for pity's sake.

I was a HUGE Sonic fan when I was a kid. Came home from school every day and turned on my Sega to play Sonic! All by myself...alone...yeah I was a nerd lol. And yes I'm 32 and going to be in the theaters with my 6 year old son.

We owe it to Paramount to go see this movie now. They listened and fixed it. They didn't have to. They could've just kept it the same and told us to go screw, which is what Hollywood studios typically do in situations like this. They could've said "Just wait and go see the movie, and then judge" as a ploy in an attempt to capitalize on the morbid curiosity in order to sell tickets. They could've insulted the fans and called them losers and nerds the way Sony did with the 2016 Ghostbusters movie. But they didn't. They took the backlash to heart and said, "Sorry, we fucked up. We'll fix this." That in itself deserves our support. But the movie actually looks fun despite the obvious premise of "CGI character in the real world". And now we won't be distracted by a badly-designed blue abomination. Plus, we've got 90's zany Jim Carrey back.

Everything about this trailer is better than the first. Not just Sonic's design, but the tone, set-up, characterizations, and set-pieces. Adding in Sonic's world and music was a much-needed change. Thumbs up to the creators for responding to criticism in a rational and pragmatic way, instead of insulting and dismissing fans the way other films have done in recent years. Though I can't quite dismiss the idea that the first trailer was purposefully bad, it was almost tailor-made to piss people off. From the music, terrible dialogue, boring military set-up, ridiculous logic on top of a god-awful design, it's like they were daring the backlash to make the trailer trend. Either way, it worked and I will be going now, whereas if this had been the first-first trailer I probably would have skipped it. Well done, Paramount. Take my money.

While the backlash did fix the design. Creators should NOT change their films,shows or games because of internet backlash. That’s how we end up with nothing but fan service and risk free content.

They didn't have to fix it if they thought people were gonna hate on the movie, but they think people gonna love the movie so they fixed the design. Haha

But now that Tyson changed stuff, this movie looks good. And, fun fact, check both trailers, the dude is not a cop in this trailer anymore. They are indeed changing the movie itself. Edit: not fun fact, Im dumb. lol
