@@shaulov10 I also had a thought. If they are remaking a ton of original SA2 assets for this game... could that possibly mean an SA2 remake is on the horizon? What with Final Chase, the Biolizard, and the already existing City Escape and all?

Still not that excited for it if it's forcefully attached to the Generations remaster. I already bought that game twice, I won't buy a third time full price solely for the Shadow content. Which no we still don't know if it will be a full game. It could easily just be a few stages like Episode Shadow from Forces. Granted, it seems to have a lot more effort put into it, but still, we don't know much about the Shadow part of the game other than the fact it might be more akin to Frontiers gameplay than to Generations.

I think if it was a remake they could do all of this stuff. I think most of the new content is gonna be in the shadow section. I hope there are some new gens stages but I think mod of it is gonna be in shadow

Well if Black Doom is going to be the main Villain of the game maybe his boss fight will end with him getting away and pulling a, "this isn't even my final form" and then he turns into devil doom and will be the final boss of the story. Maybe it could have a similar structure to base gens where you have to collect the chaos emeralds to unlock the final boss, having Devil Doom as the final boss would be so awesome. And maybe for the mephiles boss fight maybe they could have a slight horror approach to it. Maybe his first phase would be a standard chase similar to the eggman boss of the game where he throws dark orbs at you and there's some obstacles for you to avoid. And the boss arena could be either flame core or the pyramid in Dusty desert. And then his second phase would be more interesting where he turns the entire world around you dark and his little shadow minions are crawling all over shadow and he goes into your.. shadow and you have defeat a certain amount of minions to get chaos blast to get them off of you before to many get on you giving mephiles a chance to strike. If you're successful Shadow will not only light up the arena but get mephiles out of your shadow and be able to strike him. And the his final phase could be the best part. He covers the floor in darkness and turns into a bunch of giant mephiles creatures in a giant circle area. And you have to destroy 5 of them to reveal the real mephiles but then he turns into a Giant and his his little minions return as well as the bigger ones and you have to aim for the Gian mephiles but the platforms are tricky and the little mephiles will try to slow you down and the giants will be in you way. For shadow to defeat mephiles he will have to use a homing attack on a eagle statue to get him back to normal size and then hit him one last time to defeat him. This is just how I thought it could be.

TRUUE. I’ve seen a lot of discourse on Twitter and if they use the frontiers movement I would be down.

As long as it’s the open zone controls with some of the momentum changes I will be happy

@@shaulov10 Black Doom can’t warp reality. He used some sort of psychic link to mess with Shadow and he used some gas to immobilise everyone else. He does have incredible power, especially when he has all the emeralds, but so far I don’t remember him ever bending reality in any way.
