Sonic x Shadow Generations Prequel Animation Announced! 

Boy, Tyson Hesse continues to be God's gift to Sonic fans. Here's hoping that this new short goes into the events of Shadow's game and his relation with the Black Arms.

It's pretty much become an almost yearly tradition that we get an awesome animated prologue for the big Sonic release/remake coming out. We'll probably also get a prologue comic as well since that was the case for Frontiers and Superstars.

Given the voice actors listed its very likely Maria will be showing up.

These shorts started with sonic mania but things like the sonic racing and frontiers shorts are more In the style of Sonic X and anything that reminds me of Sonic X Is a good

Whenever Sega is ready to reveal more news on Sonic X Shadow Generations, I wonder if they'll being adding one level from Sonic Lost World, Sonic Mania (specifically Studiopolis Zone, Press Garden Zone, Mirage Saloon Zone, or Titanic Monarch Zone), Sonic Forces, Sonic Frontiers, and Sonic Superstars to the original Sonic Generations part of the game for it to have a future era for Classic Sonic and Modern Sonic to explore 🤔.

It definitely feels like Sega is soft rebooting Shadow's backstory and character for the modern age.

I’m really looking forward to seeing Shadow in the hands of people who are capable of making good storytelling. The great majority of recent Sonic games usually has Shadow as an edgy loner who trying too hard to act cool so I’m looking forward to Ian Flynn since he did a great job in Frontiers.

Fun fact: Shadow's pose is almost identical to the one in his game's instruction manual.
