Honestly you guys should stop deducting points for the use of torx over philips. Philips screws tend to strip easier and while they are generally more common they are mechanically inferior. I understand cutting points off for things like pentalobe or tri-wing but torx is common enough that everyone should just have a set lying around.

Absolutely. Steam Deck used philips and they stripped easily, they upgraded to Torx for the OLED and it's much better. However, I don't see any point in the video where they say Torx is bad, if anything it's the opposite.

When did he say Torx is bad? I think he meant its good to only have T5 torx screws, so just one screw driver is enough, and its not the anti-repair Torx type

Philips strip easily only if you don't use the right screwdriver.

Even the Framework laptop uses Torx. It's just better than Philips.

We don't deduct points for Torx screws. As you say, there are advantages to Torx and it's a relatively common screw now. It would have been a different story if they used Security Torx.

General questions, would having foam or some sort of soft material inside the headphones around the driver, improve bass or sound audio? Or even decrease music bleed?

The whole sonos line (speakers) connect to the wifi at setup. I, for example, have 4 sonos speakers (not of the same type) and using them is as simple as never before, i mean the setup was easy and the usage is easier, i connect my phone or pc to the same wifi and start playing whatever i want on whatever speaker with whatever loudness, WITHOUT needing to login into an account. So they made their headphones have the same function and just as easy to use, adding them to an already established app that someone like me already uses for the speakers. I mean if they sound just as good as the sony xm5's, i would rather purchase these than the sonys.

@@itsameah7917 Why would you need to log in to **headphones** though?? Presumably, your phone is already logged in and you connect to the phone, so... I mean, yes, it uses Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth, but if you really cared about fidelity that much, you would use wired headphones anyway.

Applying stickers over the screws might be necessary to maintain an acoustic seal with the cushion. Removing or damaging it could cause a loss of bass frequencies

Maybe use in-ear-buds for that, those cushions certainly will disintegrate from sweat. And most of the buds i know, you can go into shower too.

Too bad Sonos screwed the pooch on their recent app update. They are going to have to give current Sonos speaker owners a great deal on any new products.

$450 for a set of headphones???? I have enough trouble spending $45. I mean, it's a product that is very likely to break from everyday usage, so spending large chunks on money on something likely to be broken in 6 months is a waste.

The inability to listen to music in LossLess quality on wireless headphones makes it useless to purchase anything more expensive than the JBL LVE 770NC. Including AirPods MAX, SONOS and SONY. A useless waste of money.
