I remember watching this show every week when it was on. And then it just disappeared... I kept a cassette recording of the theme song for years. I also remember that it was spun off of a TV movie called "Senior Year." I would love to see the movie and all episode of the TV series again, but I doubt that will ever happen. But thanks for uploading these brief snippets of the opening and closing themes. It's nice to hear them again after so many years.

I remembered the tunes, and even whistled them occasionally. For more than forty years, I thought I would never hear the instrumentals again. The yearbook photo mock-ups on the opening title look almost exactly like the photos in my mother’s 1953 high school yearbook. My mother’s yearbook also included photos of the heads of the school soches placed on stick figures that resembled the figures being used at the time in the opening for the original network run of I Love Lucy.

Back in the mid-70s, the era depicted in this show was only 20 years back. That's like a show set in the 90s airing today 🤯

I recorded Senior Year and each of the episodes to audio tape back when it first aired, and unfortunately didn't save them probably because I moved too many times since then. I always wished they had released it on video in later years when video was available. This was a good show and better than the shows that replaced it at that time. I believe it wasn't given enough exposure and advertising to gain an audience or just the wrong time or day to show it.

This was like Dark Shadows’ relation to The Munsters and The Addams Family in the ‘60s…Happy Days was one of the most popular sitcoms of 1974 so CBS decided they wanted a nighttime soap opera that took place in the ‘50s. Nothing new then, just reuse the idea of a soap from an already popular sitcom or two.

So this is that show that came on before Cannon! Well before less than a dozen Cannons. All I remember is 0:40; sorry but that picture didn't look good on a Philco 11" black&white set.
