For anyone complaining about loot respawning after relogging and calling it a glitch, exploit, cheese... If it did not respawn you would run out of loot and not be able to craft anything after day 50 or so and you like the guns? Well enjoy not having any ammo after doing a couple big caves...
The only thing that shouldn't constantly respawn is the food because it does take the survival out of well a survival game. No sense in hunting if you can just have a shit ton of packets.
So there are at least 3 different potential crash sites you can start at. From the way you described things in your video it sounded like the mountain was the only one. The other two are in the forest right near the one cave, or on the beach near another cave.
I think that's only possible in multiplayer, and I think it may only have a chance of doing that if you're not the first player to spawn. I could be wrong though, but it sure seemed that way from what I saw.
@@VideoGameDataBank Nope! Got the Forest spawn my first two times, and the beach spawn on my peaceful game. So the spawns are random in both (only got the mountain spawn when my buddy and I played Multiplayer so far)
I beat the game on normal. And wanted forest start on hard. But kept getting snow. Looked into it and people said its where the plane is when it crashes or 1/3 chance when doing new game. What i found out...if youre getting the same crash site over and over. Restart the game. It seems its a 1/3 chance when you load up the game. Not starting new game. Was able to constantly get same location once i figured out it re rolls when you load the game up. If that makes sense?
@@voose3839 huh, that's interesting. I wonder if that carries over between multiplayer and singleplayer? So that if you keep restarting in single player to get the forest crash,you can back out and use it to get a MP Forest crash.
The ocean is the safest place to build without competition and has huge areas where you can build unhindered, even some places with trees close by. Mutants and cannibals do not go there and the water doesn´t freeze during winter, rope gun is needed for ease of access.
best spot for ammo is end bunker with cut scene place a tarp tent in floor 2 and farm that area you get about 10 slugs and 10 buck and 10 pistol per run did it for 5 -10m got about 50 of each ammo
If you have the maintenance key card, you can also run into the main part of the facility there and there's a radio at the spa desk you can smash for an additional circuit board. My main base is on the lake to the southeast of this cave, and I have a zip line that takes me right to it so I can make a run for supplies every time I log into my game each day.
I don't think so. I've tried saving and loading cannibal camps when right near them and it doesnt' work. There's gotta be some other trigger to make them respawn, either time or getting far enough away and returning. Not sure which
Anyone love that at 2:29 Kelvin is getting his ass kicked by Big Red? And great video except a bit too much time spent on building in caves. Zero aesthetics to building in a cave not to mention the volume of logs you need to make even the SIMPLEST structures makes this more tedious than building in this game already is...
Bro I think all of these were just garbage ☠️ none of these spots are in a good area… it’s either in the middle of butt crap nowhere or on the other side of the island
