In this video I test out the Sony 70-200mm F4 G OSS lens with the Sony FX6. We look at the autofocus and get an idea of the stabilisation when shooting hand held.
All shots had a Tiffen Black ProMist 1/8 filter.
Part 2 will feature outdoor park shots.

You don’t use lense support for this long lense?

No, the lens is quite light so lens support isn’t needed.

Great video! Thank you for the test footage. All settings being set to equal, have you compared this 70-200mm f4 with the f2.8 GM? I have the GM and needed another telephoto and wondered if the 70-200mm f4 will pair well(mainly sharpness and AF performance for 4k video) with the GM or if I should just rent another GM as needed.

I don't see any micro jitters at all which is refreshing. Great simple to the point test! You have a non stabilized lens like the 24-70 you can test to see the difference OSS makes?

I'll see what I can do. I used the Sony 24-70mm f2.8 GM in another video test on my channel but I used a Cinesaddle for camera support.
