Market changed significantly with the introduction of mobile phone gaming during the psp days. This took a lot of room away from the handheld console market, just look at the sales of NDS Vs 3DS to see what I mean. The market isn't big enough for Sony to make money as Sony like to create high budget AAA games. Nintendo know how to make games for a fraction of what Sony spend.

There’s no device quite like it. Incredible piece of hardware with a beautiful screen, unmatched form factor, and wonderful library once you get some custom firmware going.

Got one on a whim in Sept. when I found out I’d be working at sea for 2 months. It has been a true LIFE SAVER! Running emulations I’m playing all my fave PS1 classics and N64, not to mention arcade hits. Wonderful system!!! Hope to see you review some mods. It really is an awesome handheld.

I bought the box bundle with invizimals back then with custom box. The AR Cards are used throughout the game to build buildings or as spawnpoints. Really love this handheld.

Got 3 Vitas including 1 fist model, and 2 PS TVs. I really love that console, and I hope you'll make videos about PSP and PS1 games, but also about retroarch and retrogaming on it.

I just won a ps vita at work and had to track down a decent priced memory card. I cant play the thing until the memory card arrives. Still excited I have a bunch of games I paid for years ago that I can download.

I've got two ps vita slims on henkaku 3.65 and 3.68 they make the best modding console. I agree the dpad is atrocious. But despite that still best portable console.

There are hacks out there but it depends on the firmware revision & can apparently brick the Vita if you don't do it right. Nowhere as easy as the PSP. Never had the courage myself!

@@ericpode6095 - Very easy now. Use Modoru to downgrade ofw to v3.65, mod with h-encore2, then make it permanent with latest Enso (current v4.5). You can downgrade all fw versions now.

I got psvita at launch and loved it! Then sony did the best thing for psvita and you fan buy those Ps1 classics! Ps1 classics like Metal gear solid Resident evil 2 Tomb raider Tekken 3 and others. Imagine playing Mgs 1 on a long train journey! Psvita I feel that Sony gave up on it for ps4. I recently bought a mint condition psvita in box etc on ebay uk and I'll set it up soon or should keep it unused. Some games were just great like uncharted God of war collection and others. Sad that sony did it again stopped supporting it soon after launch. I'll always keep my psvitas!

The ps vita messed up with their memory cards. The switch does cheap sd cards and can use the 1tb sd card while the ps vita 64 gb was expensive asf

Must admit I had a PS Vita, and sold it & kept my PSP. Really HATED the controls on the Vita, worst of any handheld system I've tried (IMO), those tiny horrible microswitch face buttons killed it for me. PSP's buttons are much nicer & like the Dual Shock control pad. The D Pad isn't so bad, but I couldn't enjoy fighting games/shooters, any game where its good to bash the face buttons, as the Vita's buttons force you to press them instead
