Sony RX10 IV | Hands-On 

Thank you Joyce, the frame rate, low light capabilities, focusing speed and sensor size all really help to allow you to push the Mk IV to its limits while shooting - giving you more of a chance of capturing that clean crisp shot!

@@LondonCameraExchange why is it good for low light? ive seen many reviews talk bout this camera's only drawback is low light. would love to hear your view on this

@@harrykishen729 I have the original RX10. Auto focus and burst rate are much worse than the Mk IV, but I believe the low light capabilities are similar. I can tell you that it does well in low light due to the relatively fast lens, but the "one inch" sensor can't compete with APS-C with fast lenses. Convenience is the word to describe the RX10 line.

Not even close! 24mm-600mm is the 35mm equivalent. To achieve 60x, the MKIV would need to be closer to 1500mm at the long end of the zoom.

25x for optical, up to 100x with both digital and optical, and 50x (2x digital times 25x optical) what Sony calls clear image, which they claim doesn’t change image quality.

In this video I used the single point focus and also continuous. As you say eye AF on birds is not an option on the RX10 IV but the results really speak for themself 🙂

Wings are blurry because of movement (check the tail, seems to be in nearly the same focus as front), he would need to lower the shutter speed even more (not sure if light would be enough for it).

We shoot using the Panasonic GH5 and an assortment of lenses, mainly the 12-35mm.

I have the RX10 mkii (cheaper and lighter) and I can tell you nothing is as good as this for low light indoor shooting, blows my Panasonic FZ1000 away.

Probably right after I decide to buy the mark 4.
