Sony RX10 IV Unboxing and First Look 

Just got this for 800 usd used, I can't wait for the V anymore and now I have all version of RX series, all of different generation, RX1R, RX100III, RX10IV. the RX1R is what truly got me back into this hobby, had the 100iii for years and haven't been able to enjoy it much.

Can you power the camera from micro USB and/or use whilst charging? Is the HDMI clean output? Is the NTSC/PAL switchable? Apologies for all the questions. Great video, thanks for sharing.

Will Sony start releasing other cameras as well? I've been waiting for the new version of the HX90V, or should I just get the HX90V?

Just got one after some thinking to kind of replace or accompany my old canon DSLR. Just started using it and did some comparison tests and found that in terms of sharpness it bits my DSLR (which is an old ASPC 8MP) and it is not related to MP difference - Sony optics is just better. Have canon L 100-400mm and RX10 lens is sharper. Only maybe better on Canon side is bit warmer colors and bit better dynamic range in jpeg which can be adjusted. Do not want to talk about ISO. I've never used higher ISO than 400 on my Canon. I've bought several cameras so far in several categories. When I got to store and guy brought me the box I couldn't believe it was not wrapped and I thought it was 'an open box'. Then sure I've opened the box (as in this video) and concluded that $1700 camera is packed as $100 P&S camera. Nothing was wrapped not even silica bag?I? This is very good camera and it deserves better packaging. First impression is not first use but it is one at the unboxing. Don't want to mention that charger was also not included ... but maybe that is the way things are done today. Last time I've bought camera was few years ago. In some 100 shots I've made so far I had few with missed focus (and focus was the main reason I've selected IV vs III which is still good). I'd say it was probably me as this thing has number of different ways you can focus. With my old DSLR with only 9 points I've always used only CENTER one and never failed. But at that time no DSLR had video capability where multiple focus points are important.

So I buy this and it won't work because there's no memory card included?

I've seen open boxes of the Mk III and II at best buy for $1100 or so. That seems like quite the bargain given how expensive the new one is.
