So it's part 3 of the Sony C7 Betamax New Old Stock machine and we finally get this great machine up and running and running very well too! It's played back since recording this for several hours and the image is great, sound good and it's not missed a beat.

Wonderful to see this immaculate C7 back to A1. Took me back to unboxing my first machine. I love that your videos are always warts & all, plus you leave the screen comments on long enough to read (unlike some channels). Malvern hills Audi o on eBay has a belt kit listed for these I need to make a start on mine .I did get the remote from eBay a while back .

Good call. I'll stick with Star components as the rubber is excellent and seems to stand up well to heavy use and age too although the oldest deck with their belts is only 4 years hence! Plus you get the idler tyres and they're the right size but will definitely check out Malvern Audi - thanks for the info.

Thank you so much - to answer your question - many! It's a long story which I will share but I am having to clear out as much as I can, if anything so I can keep the channel going. It started out as a way of seeing what I'd repaired and how and has become something that's saving so many machines and keeping them all going ( and maybe fueling dodgy reconditioned machines being sold on eBay!)
