Get mine for RM620 (I live in Malaysia), around USD140, red one.. Beautiful speaker, very rugged and tough. Sound quality is outstanding but it feels more to booming sound which I prefer.. Great speaker by Sony"..
@@luqemans9943 XB41 ni takat 70% ja sdap, atas pada tu bass lesap, bunyi x balance dh.. Tapi yg bestnya leh cas guna Micro USB, JBL Xtreme lama aku bunyi best tp susah nk bawa outdoor sbb cas guna adaptor.

@@luqemans9943 aku penah try XB40, bunyi lg best dari XB41, sbb vokal dgn instrumen clear. Aku beli XB41 sbb feature dia, lg 1 kena air masin pun bole. Kalo kat umah, aku layan HK Go&Play ja, pada aku speaker tu bunyi plg best, serius power + terbaikk..
Jam box used. The ‘live’ technology years ago. It dramatically reduced volume, especially in the midrange. It did make it sound like different instruments and voices were playing in each ear though only with certain songs.
god of daddy's the xb41 is not small it’s about a foot long also for bass heavy music I would recommend jbl xtreme 1 cause is has more bass at high volumes than the xb41
Hi, I'm looking at 3 speakers I want to upgrade my jbl charge 4, it has problems. I was looking at the Sony xb41 or the Sony xb33 or the ue megablast, I want something louder than the charge 4 and with good sound, thanks.
How's the power on/off sound? Can you turn off the flashing while LEDs and leave the just the RGB strip? No reviewer ever show this. The only thing that puts me off this speaker is the tacky looking mesh cloth covering the entire body.
24ecko: Yes you can. If you go through the sony songpal app, one of the presets is called "random flash off" I believe. Which only enables the RBG strips.

I love the speakers' lights when using it outdoors, but it will be on my PC desk too, given that my X35 monitor doesn't have integrated speakers. And, while standing there, I only want the stripes to be light up, not the speakers light.
So I like death metal with lots of double kick bass , I want a speaker that will punch it out there but yet be clear on the vocals and guitar riffs to be clean and crisp ... how do I turn the extra bass off because the extra base is clearly for rap , and long rolling bass . I want hard punchy bass .
JBL Extreme. I had the opportunity to compare the sound of the xb41 and the JBL Extreme and the extreme sounds clearer and the bass is a little better. But it's also bigger and a lot heavier than the Sony.
