Sony WH-1000XM2 vs Sony XB950N1: Worth The EXTRA $? That Depends. 

Loud intro music but cant hear you talking till i raise my volume

I got the Sony MDR-950B1 (which the non noise- cancelling version) and they sound good, but they don't get as loud as I like it. I would wish the Sony Connect app could give the 950N1 and 950B1 that equalizer feature.

Great video! always wanted a comparison between their respective predecessors, but we got a comparison of the latest versions. Had the opportunity to try both, and agree, the XB's are more suitable for electronic music, or hip-hop, but you'll have some lack of detail on other genres, whereas the M2's will sound a bit better and get more detail on every track. Also, while the bass boost on the m2's isn't as powerful as the XB's it sounds a bit cleaner or natural for me. The XB's are very enjoyable with heavy bass music though. I enjoy both headphones a lot.

Just bought the N1s and they are phenomenal. And for 130, WELL worth it.

So, through the app, you can increase the bass on the N1's and M2's. When the M2's are on maximum bass, what is it compared with on the N1's between -10 and 10 (0 is bass boost button off, 10 is maximum bass, -10 is least bass)?

I currently have the MDR-XB950BT and want to updrage to WH-1000XM2 but I need to know if those headphones have enough punchy bass. I'm a bass addict and this is very important to me, do they shake your head like the XB950BT? I don't want to purchase them and be disappointed, please, I need to know. 🤔

Got my 950n1 today and I returned bose QC.

The 1000x are already better, have compared them side by side and kept the 1000x, that meanwhile I have trade for the newer 1000xm2 that are even better! No chance the 1000xm2 are the best wireless headphones to get!

Or, OR, OR. Both. :D That's my plan. I was torn between the M2s and the QC35ii"s since last December, but I think I've decided to go with the M2's after all. I LOVE that bass, and being able to control the amount of NC + bass I hear is very appealing, espeically considering the fact that I will use them for studying, so blocking out voices is espeicially important to me. Plus, that quick attention feature is very appealing We'll see how I feel come June, when I have the money to buy them. XD

How’s the 950b1 for normal listening since it’s just the n1 but less portable because I can afford it and find it more comfortable than any other headphones

Yo could you help me. I know on a scale of 1-10, the n1s are a 10 in bass. If you had to rate the m2s in bass what would you. I’m a bass lover but if the m2s have good bass I will just get those. Thanks!

I’ve tried all of these and they seem fantastic. I just worry about durability. They don’t feel durable to me.

im not sure what model of sony to go for, i want it bluetooth as bluetooth is my favourite because its louder output in bluetooth mode. i only want to spend like 80 to 120 130 maybe on a new pair of headphones as my akg y45bt headset is falling apart and that cost me like 80. i have a pair of audio technica m40x i use for making music but i wouldn't take them out or use with my phone. the sound from phone is worse than from my audio interface. i am not also keen on the sound from my m40x its like not enough bass going on, its enough but not enough to stand out. so what would u say my next pair of better headphones should i get for a bit more money than 80. noise canceling would be a nice one but i don't really need it. i also have a sony xz premium 5 which has nice equaliser features. but i never been a fan of sony sound products and i found them to be too tinny. so maybe the extra bass model i should look at. but i don't want that feeling i heard about dre beats where bass is too much. i even tried my mates 300 pound dre beats and thought the same. the sony has a extra bass button. so from button off its nice bass, then when u put bass on its like dre beats bass? im also looking at the WH800 headphones for 100 pounds. theres also wh ch700n model for 109. im after the best sounding headphones for mainly uk grime music instrumentals and hip hop rap and stuff. any help guys?
