These cans are highly under rated. The 1000XM range steals the spotlight, but these are pretty much the same for a much cheaper price and offer the same quality of sound.
you're very wrong right here ,these headphones do have noise cancelation while using cable in 3.5mm jack , you can push the custom button to activate noise cancelation , Ambient sound control and turn off Ambient sound with no noise cancelling
@@omerkhwaja3118 Hell yeah bro using them rn to watch youtube on my mb. They're fucking awesomeeeeee. Just got a new software update the other day too and noise cancellation is quite good now and the sony headphones connect app is fucking great when it comes to adjusting your personal sound preference. And obviously bass is incredible. Literally no issues so far.
I have had mine for a months, do not buy these specifically for the noise canceling. The bass is deep and clear but occasionally I hear this rattling sound in the right earcup that also seems to be a problem in the 1000xm3s also. I was able to resolve this issue by giving the right earcup a firm slap and possibly move whatever Wal loose back into place.
@@jamesrietveld5171 Just got a pair today. Upgraded from my old MDR-XB950B1 pair. For these, unfortunately, it's true that the sound quality dips noticeably when using a cable/headphone jack. However, if you turn the headphones on while using a cable, then they sound perfectly fine, and noise canceling will work too. I've also found that using an equalizer helps with the low sound quality when using only a cable. It's possible that these headphones just need to break in to sound their best.
@@LoneCommenter hmmm For these, unfortunately, it's true that the sound quality dips noticeably when using a cable/headphone jack. However, if you turn the headphones on while using a cable, then they sound perfectly fine, and noise canceling will work too. so will quality be worse or no?
@@rocas4087 if you use the headphones with a cable while they're turned off, then they won't sound good. But if you use the headphones while they're turned on, either with a cable or with Bluetooth, then they sound great. I've had my headphones for 10 months now and I love them, but unfortunately this wasn't a problem of them needing to break in. The headphones need the power from their internal battery. The power supplied from a 3.5 mm headphone cable alone isn't enough for them, so that's why they don't sound as good.
@@LoneCommenter oh you can use them while turned off. How much time does they take to charge? Can't you use them while they're charching (and turned on)? I'm not sure if Ive explained myself correctly haha
HELP GUYS! Should I get SONY WH-XB900N or SOUNDCORE Q35? I only listen to POP and Alternative. I want them to be comfortable, have nice sound and good microphone. They both cost around the same price.
I’ve got one today and, coming from a WH-XB700, I don’t think I like it. It’s almost as if I preferred great isolation to noice cancelling. Am I doing this right?
I wanted to ask if there is the wind noise reduction function with the WH XB900N, because I cant seem to find it in the app. Even older models have it, but I cant find it with that model. Also, any news for software updates ?
The quality is the same as long as the headphones are on. If the headphones are off, there is a large drop in sound quality. This is mostly acceptable to me as I do use my headphones in certain wired situations when my headphones still have charge (such as with an Oculus Quest and sitting at my ancient computer)
@@carlosarriaga7428 They are great headphones for the price but you know if you are ready to spend more you can go for the 1000xm3s or even the XM4s. U can absolutely use these for gaming cause I don't find any delay. I love it so far!
Does the sound quality change when you are using the cable and turn off the headphones? (I read that the sound becomes really terrible and degraded) and can I use the ANC (headphones turned off) with the cable?
@@Cesar-vx3so No, it does not feel cheap with the plastic. Some snooty reviews made me question that before the purchase as well. I actually like subtle textured feel when swiping songs or volume. Yes the bass is strong, no question there. The app let's you tweak it to however you like it. From teeth rattling dubstep to hearing the bass player in rock songs, all the way to no bass at all. Had the app open the first day I got them but haven't needed to adjust anything from that point on. Very happy with the sound quality and purchase. I'm hearing instruments in songs that I never knew were in them. It's like hearing the songs for the first time again. Very cool experience.
@@ben888888888888 bro I was like you, I'm seriously considering these headphones. Someone told me that the plastic is similar, if not the same, as the one used on ps4. And another concern I have is if the bass gets really low like on Kamikaze from Eminem, my beats solo 3 (bass heavy headphones) didn't get it. Can you please test that song and tell me your thought? My purchase depends on that
@@neles1049 got it on eBay it said it was used lightly tho so that's why it was so cheap but doesn't bother me I think I bought the last one but there are other similar deals on ebay just look
Yeah because the wired sound isn’t using the features of the headphones it’s just playing the sound. You can use wired when it’s dead as well. So basically all wired does is play music with no extra features
@@Saurabh-hx1yp It's not a problem, it's just that not everyone watching knows that's what the acronym is for. I'm a tech savvy guy, but some watching may not be, that's all.
