I was able to pick up a Sony ZV-E10 (they've been hard to come by since the announcement). Join me in unboxing this new mirrorless camera in Sony's ZV line that features an APS-C sensor and an interchangeable lens mount. It also keeps some of the best features from the ZV-1 like a built-in stereo microphone, flip-out LCD screen, and minimal, easy-to-use button layout.

thanks!!!! got it in last week, then barely got to open the box yesterday when I posted this. haven't used it except as a webcam for a zoom call and worked pretty seamlessly. so far so good, now to go out and shoot with it :)

@@diddi9635 a7iii is probably the best bang for the buck. if you need a flip out screen, get the a7c instead. what type of shooting do you want to do?

Hi! I'm thinking about getting this camera, but my main focus is filmmaking, as I'm starting to develop my own projects. Have you used your camera to film things, and do you thinks it's a good option for amateur filmmaking? I feel like if I get this camera, I'll have the best if both worlds. Thanks!

for vlogging, I would recommend a 24mm or wider lens. the smaller the better. the 20mm f/1.8 is a great one to use for selfie-type shots.

How do you charge it? Would I have to buy a separate Sony charger? Or does the usb work?

I have a charger from an older camera, (a6000), and it's the same type of camera.

Please, can we take pictures with the camera unboxed as-is, or we have to buy a lens for photographs?

I already have some Sony lenses. That’s why I bought this camera without a lens. But if you don’t have any Sony lenses and want to get the ZV-E10 you should get the version with a kit lens. Also I would wait because Sony is about to announce a new version of this camera this month.

Hey foufz so I just watched another unboxing and this one doesn't come with a lens but you can choose the option of getting it with the lens. Basically you can choose whether to get it with or without in the box.

Can you tell me what Sony camera you would recommend for: lifestyle, kids in constant motion, travel, some video, kid sports/dance, family photos, with zoom lens options, for ~$1,000-$1,500?

agree with @sahildokale. a7c is great for the size. I would also look into the ZV-E1 (better video feature but more expensive).

Hello i am super beginer. I confused about battery charge. Am i have to buy camera battery charger too?

You can charge the battery while its in the camera and connect it via USB. but if you want to charge the battery outside of the camera, you have to purchase a charger, because Sony does not include one on any of their cameras except for the higher end cameras like the a1.
